Before work began, Jose responded promptly to my requests for changes in design, gave detailed drawings &estimates PRICE - it was a very fair price, and lower than the other bid I got for a simple rectangular design DESIGN - my requirements were a bigger patio that covers up the swamp. Jose came up with a plan that has curves to fit in well with the curves in my existing landscape, plus the swamp is gone! He gave me advice on which sizes of pavers would work well in the design. PROFESSIONALISM - every day the team was on time and left the area cleaned up. They laid and re-laid pavers until they were satisfied with the look. They spent a lot of time leveling and fixing places where water pooled on my lawn/old patio. They improved the downspout drains and crawlspace vents. Call them for your project, you'll be glad you did!

After 2 years living in our Issaquah rambler, we were tired of our grubby back yard. With a very…read moresloping hillside slumping into it, the constant roll of rocks, and puddling of runoff made the space not very enjoyable. Our small deck, and a big dirt patch was also not a clean or functional space for us or our dog - so it was time for a change. Once we set our minds to investing in a renovation, I met with 7 (yes 7!) concrete, rockery, and paver providers to discuss the projected heat their ideas, and solicit quotes. A number of the providers were visionless, one was rude, and another was wildly expensive (twice as much as any of the others). Enter Jose and J Zamora Construction. While my initial vision for the space was admittedly to have a concrete patio, with a paver retaining wall - after meeting with Jose, my mind changed. In the most genuine and non-pressuring tone possible, he educated me about the benefits of using pavers (repairability, less cracking risk, better drainage, etc). That, combined with both his understanding of the challenges of my property, as well as his unique lense on a design for our space - made Jose a stand out. I also greatly appreciated that when I expressed specific wishes, he did not take offense when those ideas didn't align with his initial recommendation. When some providers acted put-off when I said "I don't want to take out this tree" (etc.), Jose took it in stride and offered solutions rather than trying to convince me that my preference was unreasonable. After viewing our property, he was prompt, kind, and fair in his quote to us. His documentation was thorough and clear. That, along with his truly aesthetically, and functionally minded vision for our space convinced me to completely pivot from "I'm doing concrete", to "let's go with pavers". After hiring Jose, he recommended products that suited our combined vision for my yard, was transparent about potential overages, and ultimately executed a project that is beyond my dreams for our difficult space. His crew of 6 busted their behinds for 4 solid days to crack it out. They were prompt, respectful of my property and neighbors; and thorough in their daily, and end of project cleanup. They even went above and beyond to carefully re-lay our dog's invisible fence line, which was displaced in the underground drainage portion of our project. Ultimately, we're left with the addition of nearly 1000 square feet to our livable space. An area that started as a grubby dirt patch has become a clean and stunning use of space. It flows with the natural landscape, and looks cohesive with our very mid century home. We have had neighbors (known to us and new introductions) stop by with their jaws on the floor - one even saying "you've made this yard the showpiece of the mountain". Once we paint the house - our sweet little rambler will be perfection - and we have Jose to thank for so much of our exterior transformation. They took my inspiration photos and a sketch, and they manifested it into a natural-looking design that is well integrated in our existing yard. From the moment I reached out, Ghee promptly communicated back with detailed answers over the phone and/or text. We locked in scope, and the estimate he provided was reasonable. It was on the high end compared to other bids, but his communication and experience led us to go with him. And good thing we did. The resulting project is beautiful. We got large granite rocks, river rock, and a liner underneath all for $4K. Much of that was material cost. The labor they put in was 2.5 days. Definitely hard work to dig out the pond and move the large rocks in place. The crew also was friendly and kept the site clean every day. I'd definitely hire Fire Sparrow Landscaping again.

Gerardo showed up, chatted with me about what I wanted, took measurements, and gave me a bid on the spot. I was moving into a house I was rehabbing and needed a portion of this fence done right away because I have a dog and he hustled to not only build the new portion I needed, but went out of his way to do some repairs on the existing fence to keep my dog safe and secure. He and the people working for him showed a lot of attention to detail, checked in with me often about the project to make sure it was coming along and looking as I expected, and every day at the end of the day the work site was clean and organized. I'm planning some plant installations and a new deck and Gerard's Landscaping is going to be my first call!

They sent me a very lengthy message. Whoever was responding, was in the field and took time out to respond and didnt like that I had not done my due diligence. They told me that the market has changed and they need their customers to do some research. Then they gave me an arbutrary deadline to join a COMPLIMENTARY 10min call. The number of red flags in 1 message exchange. First of all, if you are in the field don't respond to the message or hire someone who can do it without getting upset that their customer do not know what they need.

We've been really impressed by this process. The construction crews are highly professional. They are thoughtful and careful with neighbors when dealing with moving equipment in and out, noise, and those kinds of things. They are great communicators and set really good expectations about project length and other details. When we asked for tweaks or changes midstream there was never any grousing or grumbling - they were very focused on making sure we were 100% happy. The guys are our crew were Colin, Max and Michael, and Patrick was the Construction Manager. In both cases, the finished projects were even more stunning than we expected. Top notch.

I got bids from 4 different companies, but I knew right away I'd be hiring Green Triangle. Victor knows trees and showed me three of the many Douglas Fir trees that were diseased and had to come down. He walked the property taking notes. We have an acre. He and his crew also got rid of enormous patches of blackberries and scotch broom, clearing the pasture and cleaning up the front and back yards. He had a huge job to do, left the site clean, and did excellent work. He also had appropriate equipment (which was good, because enormous limbs of the overgrown trees were being chipped just about all day). The cost was very reasonable as well. To say he and his crew went above and beyond is an understatement. Green Triangle is the company to hire, hands down.

Santiago and his crew did an amazing job on my project! I had some drainage issues along the back of my yard and decided to have a French drain and raised bed around the perimeter of my yard. These guys came in and dug out about a foot or more of the bad dirt, installed a drain and erected stone blocks for the raised bed and filled in with good quality soil and mulch. The end result looks awesome and I look forward to spending many nights in the back yard looking at how nice it is. The crew worked hard every day, showed up on time and were respectful of my property. Santiago did a great job putting the project together for me and I highly recommend him for all your landscaping needs.

Not only did the build out take forever (7 months), but since picking up my van on my first/second use, I have had roof leaks because they didn't install the "C" gaskets right for the AC unit, I experienced multiple leaks in the pressurized plumbing system (see pictures below) which caused wood damage to the cabinetry due to poor PEX seals, I still have no relief from the misbehaving (and Rydawell recommended) Ecoflow electrical system, I discovered they failed to insulate the sliding door, they actually plumbed the gray water lines into the BOTTOM of the gray water tank using the same penetration point as the drain (this caused water to back up into the shower pan when using the sinks (not to mention it would fail completely in freezing weather) and I discovered that the Rixen heating system was installed against manufacturer recommendations (to name just some of the issues). This has caused me thousands of dollars to get repaired (so far) at another (competent) van builder. While his hourly rate may seem cheaper, it takes him much longer to accomplish work items. As an example, his quote to install a 2nd battery (which he was supposed to have left room for) was twice as long as I was able to get it done elsewhere by professional van builders.

During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. The end result was beautiful and it had been a great experience working with Serhii and his family crew! Northwest Flooring is definitely at the top of my list for any of our future hardwood flooring needs!

Our project was split into multiple steps (because of us, not them) and they graciously planned around us and came back multiple times throughout the project. They even gave us the suggestion of starting the floors, and then coming back to finish them after we finished painting walls because of dust, debris, etc., to make sure we were happiest with the end result. When we had questions or any concerns, they were quick to call, give tips, and come back to assess or change something based on our preferences. They even gave us some of the product they used so we could match our baseboards and fill them the way they suggested. I would highly recommend them for any flooring project.

This journey has been a complete LIFE CHANGER. I have to agree with the other reviewer about how she is "part organizer part therapist". Before, my husband and I were in transition going from 2 separate homes to 1, and life was messy and unmanageable...and our home reflected that. We had double or triple of things which were randomly placed. It was so overwhelming that it was a huge source of stress and most likely put a strain on our relationship. What happened? We hired Sherri not knowing how brilliant she was. Her personality is warm,compassionate, and totally non-judgemental. This is so important because messiness can come with shame. She was so supportive in OUR vision of our home, and taught us the skills, tools, and systems needed to organize. I also want to note she genuinely wanted to get to know us as a whole person, not just getting things organized. Now, yes, things can get easily get "messy" but we know exactly where things go and cleaning is quick and easy. No more stress anymore. Things in our home have a system tailored to our lifestyle. I can now organize on my own because I have the techniques I learned with Sherri. Her husband, John is fantastic too, and are glad we got a chance to work with him during our design renovations in our home. This is way overdue, but clearly a hint into why I needed to have someone like Christy come into my…read morelife! Christy was more than a de-clutter expert, she's therapy! I can give you every reason / excuse as to why I hadn't been able to get my act together, but you already know. Christy was able to approach my situation in a way that was caring and fun. She wasn't just trying to help me "get rid" of stuff, but really had me look into why I felt the need to have X in the first place. We'd talk it through, come up with a solution, and act on it. Super cathartic. She'd give me realistic "homework" to do until next time, and of course, I'd make excuse why it wasn't done. No judgement! I looked forward to seeing her each time. Here's the thing. Would my life be better if she lived in my home and did it for me? Sure! And she can " just do it" for the client. But for me, her methods have bled over into every aspect of my life. She "taught" me how to take these methods into work, into a way of thinking when approaching just about everything. And time flies when you are with her. Her personality and optimism is contagious! And she can shift focus at a moment's notice. Don't want to tackle de-cluttering closet today? Really need assistance in digital filing ( organizing that crazy computer, bills, etc)? She can do that, too. Need more sessions with her for sure, but not bc she didn't succeed. But bc I want to continue to better my life and 46 years of habits can be tough to break. And face it, we can all benefit from continuing to grow and be our better selves.
