Aesthetically pleasing in both the presentation of dishes and restaurant decorations, wide variety of food and drinks selection, and exemplary taste wise. Authentically Japanese owned. A tad bit on the pricier end for some items but well worth the tendies.

Great service, loved the atmosphere. We've tried Tokyo Shoyu Ramen and nigiri. Highly recommend.

This is pizza sushi. Yes it is!

The restaurant is very clean. A super-friendly waitress brings us napkins, and chopsticks. The menu goes on for pages and pages but there are no pictures. We ordered three dishes for two people. California rolls 8 small pieces. The rice was fresh but not sweetened with vinegar and sugar as is often done- I appreciated this- but the crab and avocado were so tiny as to be barely noticed next to the overpowering pickle. We also ordered spicy salmon- 8 small pieces, and drizzled with mayonnaise, but all in all quite tasty. Finally, we could not resist trying the salmon sushi pizza, one of several "pizza" choices on the menu. Picture is included. The "crust" looks to be made from a ball of rice that has been deep-fried, then flatted, spread with finely chopped green and white onions, and layered with salmon, then cut into slices. Gluten-free and a charming idea- I think we'll be seeing more of "sushi pizza". Went back for a latte- best one I've had in Moose Jaw so far. We also had the prosciutto crepe panini, and the chicken pesto wrap which were both delicious. I'm changing my vote from 4-5 stars. Was going to try breakfast but they were closed Monday on the long weekend.

Breakfast of champions!! Beautiful and tasty. Who doesn't want to start their day with a little ice cream and chocolate. ;)

This was our first visit to Moose Jaw so I clicked on yelp to help us find some unique places to eat. We chose Mitsu because it was an easy 5 minute walk from our hotel (Temple Garden) and had fabulous reviews. Our friends, upon delving into Mitsu's info online concurred that this would be our venue for Sunday brunch. The 4 of us arrived just before 11 am Sunday August 25, 2019 at Mitsu Sweet Cafe. We walked in to a large clean bright open space with a silk screen of a beautiful cherry blossom tree hanging loosely on the ceiling with lighting behind it. (Why I did not take a picture I can only assume is because I'm new to this.) Immediately we had the attention of the waitress/hostess. She was very amiable with a big smile. The entire staff, btw, looked very professional with white button down shirts and black dress pants. Hair was all pulled back into ponytails. As the waitress seated us she asked if we wanted sushi or cafe. We wanted to keep our options open so we said we didn't know yet. At that time the waitress gave us stylish black leather dinner menus. We peruse the menus and discover they are solely filled with sushi. We love sushi, but not for breakfast. We were confused. If breakfast/cafe food wasn't in the menu, how do you order it? My friend Victoria figured it out when she went up to the front to order coffees. While up there she found a board with the cafe menu on it. Ohhhh!! So if we want cafe food we have to come to the front, place our orders, pay for them and serve ourselves. If we had wanted sushi there is actually another entire restaurant behind the cafe. I think they share the kitchen in the middle. The cafe food was well worth the wait. Huge portions, beautifully plated and tasty. They also have specialty treats pre-made in a glass showcase up front that you can enjoy there or take home and share.

I actually don't like ice-cream, but when I saw that they have Matcha Homemade ice-cream, I just couldn't resist!

Spectacular place! One of the precious gems you can find in the prairies in the middle of Canada. If you like high-end, real coffee for the reasonable price - this is the place. I absolutely love cappuccinos here, desserts are top notch and fun too. Authentic sushi and ramen noodles are amazing. You are going to notice immediately that every single beverage and meal is made with attention to the detail and love. Service and staff is fabulous, you can feel that this is family-owned business and not some kind of soulless franchise. This is a spectacular place and I highly recommend it.

Best sushi in southern SK. Service is always great and it's super cute inside. It's definitely one of Moose Jaw's top restaurants!

Both were outstanding! Simpler drinks, like the Americanos (both regular and decaf) were really enjoyable, too, but the real gem on the menu is the Hourglass Haze - a milky Earl Grey beverage infused with their signature Smoked Lavender syrup. That beverage alone is worth the drive to the outskirts! OH!!! I almost forgot the waffles dipped in lavender vanilla icing... they are epic!!

This coffee shop was also very COVID conscience with plexiglass and a line separating for distance. I truly appreciated this was still in place! The coffee itself was unbelievable! We've grown used to the heirloom beans, light fresh roasts, direct trade ethical deliciousness at our neighbourhood place in Montreal (call us hipsters! we accept this!) And so when we found the beans at 33 1/3 we were just so happy. Roasted within a few days, beautifully brewed, light and full of the complex flavour of the beans, and served by passionate if surly professionals. The surly is the only reason I deducted a star, there's no reason to provide less warmth and care than places with shittier product. This is an unnecessary feature of too many third wave coffee places. Or maybe it was just a bad day. Bonus - there's a super delicious and friendlier small brewer on site serving up some super freaking tasty local beer, and giving generous samples!!
