Cozy little coffee shop in Crosby! Big kudos to them because it was delicious coffee and also had some very fun specialty menu items that made it hard to pick. I had the Carmel Butter Breve that had a nice butterscotch flavor to it. Some of the prices are a little high, but if their ingredients are made in house it would certainly be worth it; it was delicious none the less! A Kava House company that DOES NOT SELL KAVA?!! That's like the international House of Pancakes not having pancakes. LOCATION: Next to Victuals which I recommend you go to if you want a place that delivers more than expected. There's limited street parking. First come, first served. DECOR: Minimalistic and modernly clean and sleek. Mostly white with natural accents of wood and metals. DRINKS: NO KAVA do I want interested in else was there. FOOD: There was plenty of 90's era candy. Warheads, ring pops, pop rocks and sugar daddys. It was a blast from the past. STAFF: Kind, apologetic and youthful. EXPERIENCE: My partner has never had kava before and decides to stop in at this place. She's very excited about trying kava which she's heard so much about. So we walk inside and it's as quiet as a library. No music and no conversation as though everyone stopped talking when we walked in. We walked to the front counter and asked where the kava was on the menu. Then we were told how the kava house has no kava. If it weren't for the nostalgic candy and cute decor, I'd say 1 star. It's the only reason we even stopped in. That's literally false advertisement. The very kind and sweet staff told us that it wasn't even legal for them to sell kava because they were minors. So you work at a Kava House that doesn't sell kava because it employs minors or the kava house is a lie and doesn't even have kava? Either way, why would I come back? Popped in for coffee the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Staff were friendly and efficient. Nice coffee shop, comfortable inside with a good amount of seating. My coffee was made perfectly, and even though my son said he was not hungry he devoured the egg sandwich. They have ice cream, but it was like 10 in the morning, so the timing wasn't right for us. It was a fantastic experience, I would happily return. read more

WOW WOW WOW! Delicious coffee for a GREAT price! I ordered an iced cinnamon dolce. Due to the current season of Covid I ordered for pick up. The website and ordering system is easy to use and I was so shocked to see all the food options too. Also, I was very impressed when Tammy came outside and told me the daily special. (I love being informed). I placed my order after pulling up to the shop. After placing my order it was delivered quickly (only took 4 mins). My ordered mentioned more of a 15 minute wait so I was very happy when it came out sooner then the estimated time! Tammy one of the barista's brought so much joy to me during my mixed company experience. She has such a shining spirit filled with laughter and care. This place is a win win! I have not tried the coffee yet but my family absolutely loves it. I had the Mediterranean turkey sandwich - it was delicious and the bread was the perfect compliment. If we paid for the smiles and great service this would have been the most expensive coffee place. Their welcoming friendly service makes you feel like family. A standout place to sit back enjoy coffee, pastries, food during lunch or breakfast; just superb. Easy street parking in Crosby Minnesota. Plenty of menu items and a nice little store in the back to shop around. If in the Cuyuna area, this stop should be a must. Chill and relax with nice beverages and conversation. It's a pretty comfy inside. The coffee was all right, I think the oat milk didn't taste very good. Homemade scones were decent size and enjoyable. I didn't love the screens behind the counter, they felt very anti-cute coffee shop. Workers were helpful and nice! read more

We stopped for caffeine and a snack on our way through. I got a white chocolate mint mocha for the first time in I-don't-know-how-long since it had a cute name, and it was great. The kids were begging for ice cream at 10am, but settled for some yummy pastries. Loved the decor and collection of misc dining tables. Servers were very nice. We'll be back! read more

Cute place serves up a surprisingly delicious latte! Likely the best one I have experienced to date in my travels around Minnesota. Easily on par with the high end shops of the big cities. Unfortunately they don't carry whole milk but are quick to doctor it with half and half. WARNING: I learned the hard way, their hours on social media and map apps have them closing at 7pm. Seasonally they close at 5pm. Check before making a special trip. read more

I had a take out lunch at this small cafe on August 12th, 2014. It was the best meal of my 6 day Minnesota trip....! Really! The sandwich was absolutely delicious. The foccacia bread was super fresh, thin and very tasty. It was a turkey sandwich; I don't remember the other ingredients, just that it tasted great and had healthy ingredients with a generous portion of turkey meat. I live in CA with many good restaurants, lots of fresh local produce & good bakeries and this place could definitely hold it's own where I live on the coast. I also had their rich homemade brownie (carmel & chocolate)--yum! My only gripe is that I was appalled when they put my take out in a styrofoam container. This has long been banned where I live as it is absolutely the worst plastic in the world. It never breaks down. Since they have fresh food of high quality, they should consider upgrading to a better, more environmentally friendly packaging system. read more

Stopped in on our way home from the cabin. What a treasure!!! Lovely, homey feeling coffee shop with excellent food! My latte was amazing, best I've ever had and my husband raved about his regular drip coffee. Our family devoured the just out of the oven cinnamon rolls...to die for! My daughter who loves a good cinnamon roll said on a scale of 1-10 it was a 100! My husband and I had the breakfast sandwiches, also so good. Very fresh and great quality ingredients. Better than any like place in the Minneapolis area, and we've been to several! Her attention to detail and interest in providing great quality were so impressive and showed in how great everything tasted! She was also very thoughtful and attentive regarding our kids needs, also a nice touch! We'll be back... Visiting from Washington and being a coffee shop owner myself, I'm pretty picky about my coffee. I got a double tall Americano with cream. The shots were well pulled and the service was friendly. Stopped by for lunch while visiting the area from KC for mountain biking at Cuyana Lakes Trails. We were both impressed with the creative ingredients and quality of the sandwiches we enjoyed.
