This place was the best urgent care experience I have ever had. The staff were all incredibly friendly and they got me in and out much faster than anywhere else I've ever been. I had tried to go to 3 other urgent cares and they weren't accepting any new patients as it was around 6pm. I was in so much pain and didn't want to go to the ER cause that option is always so expensive. Mizzou urgent care got me in though and took care of my broken foot. My son was seen by someone today at your facility, and I'm deeply concerned that no labs were taken! I'm terrified that my has something seriously wrong with him and he's treated like he was at the nurse's office at high school. WOW! $150.00 for nothing! This is unacceptable, you are a doctor's office, matter a fact--you're an urgent care facility and have no concern that he's been puking for days on end. He is dizzy, not sleeping, and not eating well, has intense migranes, and you send him away with motion sickness medicine. Shame on you! read more

My appointment was fine. Went in Sunday with UTI symptoms. Waited until Tuesday for results. Mixed Flora, but fairly high volume. Called to see what to do, still symptoms. Nurse told me do nothing, even though frequent urination, it would probably resolve. Waste of time and money, do not go here. would gif no stars if possible! read more

Took my 12 year old here for suspected strep throat. This is a child that is hardly ever sick and went to school feeling very crummy yesterday. They wouldn't write us an excuse for school today because the AI said it wasn't necessary. He is currently running a fever and flying through Kleenexes like crazy. Entering the building and having a pleasant receptionist smile at us was a great start. The nurse who attended was kind, personable and seemed to care. I brought my teenage daughter in because of a high fever for 3 days and a sudden rash that turned to hives and spread while we were there. The doctor wasn't pleasant, seemed uninterested in my notes I had documented because of the fever and rash. Left room, 30 minutes later she comes in and my child is positive for influenza B. Basically said good luck it will go away on its own. I had to ask for topical cream for the itching and Tamiflu. It's been 4 days. Still fever and rash. I called in only to be told that they did all the tests they could so I should GoGo the ER. What on earth...maybe a revisit with another doctor? Nope, I have read other urgent care reviews and it seems like Columbia has awful facilities with rude staff. read more

DO NOT USE if you have blue cross insurance. They bill as an emergency and will cost you way more than your co-pay and they will not fix it Visit was ok but can't afford the service because of billing issue. read more

Best urgent care experience I have ever had. The staff were all very helpful and kind. I felt like they listened to me and actually cared about my well being in trying to figure out what was going on. I got in really quick which could be due to the severity of my symptoms and that I was there in the morning but throughout my two hours there I was never alone in the room for more than 20 minutes. Will never come back to this Urgent care. Symptoms: fever, cough, chills, fatigue, shortness of breath. Was told I had a fever and they said take ibuprofen, went to Columbia urgent care the following Sunday and was diagnosed with pneumonia. They prescribed me antibiotics, and I immediately started feeling better, this also happened to my roommate. He went into Mizzou urgent care and they missed his bronchitis! As a college student, and my first time being sick away from home, I found the first place that took my insurance and this happened to be it. They were so fast with getting me checked in and through the whole process. I was in and out in less than an hour. The doctors were great and the rest of the staff. The whole area was clean and organized. I would not hesitate to come here again and their other facilities. read more

Went in after feeling flu-like symptoms. Asked to be swabbed and tested. Nurse swabbed the base of my nostril without so much as going into the nose. Was let go after being told that both swabs (unsurprisingly) came back negative and "your immune system will take care of it in 5-8 days". Went to Columbia Urgent care right after and they swabbed correctly. Tested positive for flu and adenovirus. Was given proper treatment and steroids after the illnesses had gotten worse. Should have saved myself money and time and just started with Columbia Urgent Care. read more

I ended up here after a trip to the local Providence Urgent care couldn't help me cut the wedding ring off of my swollen finger. Front desk staff were very friendly. Nurses and Doctors were great. They helped me out in a very quick fashion. Highly recommended. read more

Bills as an "emergency department type b". Billed just under 800$ for a five minute visit with a PA. Didn't even see a doctor. Absolutely awful place. Felt like a scam -- Mizzou billing is telling me to pound sand and pay up. Unethical and disgusting. read more

Receptionists were nice. It was a Saturday so my doc wasn't available. I came in to Mizzou Urgent Care after foreign travel and was diagnosed with e. Coli accurately. I also mentioned a rash I had and the P.A. Stephen Gaines waves his hand and said "oh rashes can be anything." Didn't ask to see it. Four days later I'm writhing in pain and my leg is numb. I go to my regular doctor. The rash is shingles. An earlier diagnosis and dosage of anti virals would likely have given me a shorter and less painful progression of the shingles. I was very disappointed as I had extremely good care one other time I went in for a bad migraine. Usually doctors ask many questions to ensure they're not missing something. He missed. Big time. There were doctors there but they didn't suggest I see one. Big miss. read more

This is hands down the best urgent care I have ever been to. Minimal wait time, and extremely attentive doctors and nurses. I was never alone in my room for more than 10 minutes. This is amazing since at any other urgent care I've been to, I have been sitting in the room for an upwards of 30 minutes before someone comes back in. I was nervous to even come to an urgent care because of how time consuming it is for usually not the best care, but this urgent care has blown me away. My nurse and doctor are both wonderful, so kind and helpful. For the first time ever, I am leaving an urgent care confident in the care I've received. This is the place to go!! read more

Amazing staff and extremely efficient as well. I showed up around 1 with some issues and was able to get blood work and an EKG done and was at work by 2:45. All smiles from everyone there and all extremely supportive. As a student with no previous hospital or urgent care experience it was a great first experience. read more

I have used this Urgent Care multiple times now, trying to give them a decent chance. The ladies in the front have always been wonderfully polite but that seems to be where the politeness ends. For some reason, almost every single time I have gone there, I encounter staff who are very rude, be it a nurse or a doctor. I am not sure what "behind-the-scenes" work that they need to do but as a patient I am constantly given the sense of "you are wasting my time, time I don't have to give you." A lot of the nurses seem upset and frustrated just walking me to a room. At first I thought the nurse was having a bad day, we all have them. Then I noticed that this was a problem almost every time I came in, sometimes I'd get a relaxed nurse and the doctor would be rude. I had two separate instances of a doctor just brushing me off. The one that really took the cake was where the doctor told me that, "I didn't know if the pain was on the outside or inside (of my body)." There is a palpable tension in the Urgent Care. I don't know why but as a patient, I will be moving over to Boone for my Urgent Care needs in the future. It is a horrible feeling, to be made to feel like you are bothering your healthcare team. I did want to compliment Dr. Gohl (sp?) and the faboulous male nurse (whose name I can't remember) for giving me excellent care. In case, Mizzou Urgent Care actually looks at their reviews. I was very impressed with the staff. I was promptly​ greeted ​when I arrived. I was quickly checked in and only sat for about 5 minutes and was called back. The nurse that called me back was very courteous and respectful. The physician also was very kind, respectful and professional. I was checked in and checked out in 30 minutes. I will definitely​ use them in the future if a necessity is required. read more

Both my husband and I were seen there at different times but for the same illness by Dr. Flynn, the medical director. We both got the same impression of her. She seemed very condescending, and a very cold person. She was just pressing to get out of the room and move on to the next patient. We certainly hope she doesn't treat her other patients or staff like this. As for the building itself it's very nice. The wait time was long, but I could tell the nurse was trying very hard and a caring person. Although the main focus at the front desk was collecting our co-pay; that person was friendly as well. My husband got better, I did not. I wasn't about to call back to speak with Dr. Flynn so I went to Providence Urgent Care and had a much better experience. Thank you Providence Urgent Care. read more
