When installation was done, several shades were not done correctly and required a personal visit from upper management to agree to reorder the right size. We purchased a second home and used Zingas again. This time, it was a color issue. Again, it took MANY calls, emails, etc to get someone to take a look and realize the color was wrong! They did ultimately reorder them, but the process was terrible, frustrating, etc. Since then, we have been happy with the shades, including many motorized shades. The biggest issue now is the service process. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone. Requiring customers to do all the paperwork online, and then wait until its convenient for them to reply is awful. I'm not sure what happened, but not having a live person answer the phone for service is a huge mistake. I cannot recommend them any longer.

I submitted the info and a couple of weeks later, still no response. I then called them. I spoke with a woman and she found my original email and asked if they could have a chance to review it and call me back. I said no problem, it is now May 15th (a couple of weeks since I spoke with her) and I still have not heard back from them. I am not in a hurry for this project and if they were short staffed I wouldn't have minded waiting until they had availability, but I don't understand the total lack of response.

DaShawn was also the only realtor we reached out to that wanted to jump on a call with us to really get to know our needs (other than bed/bath count), which was the reason we chose him as our realtor in the first place. He pointed out "quick flips" as we were touring, which was very helpful for us; he taught us to look under the cosmetics of things like flooring and paint. Where we could have used more support from DaShawn was during the negotiation / closing process. Had we not done our own research and had a good understanding of unique ways to write an offer, the outcome may have been different. Additionally, once our offer was accepted, we felt we had to do a lot of reaching out to DaShawn on progress of closing, and felt mislead on the seller's perspective of getting to an agreement on the sale of the house and the additional lot next door. Overall, we enjoyed working with him and would recommend DaShawn to more experienced home buyers.
