The quote they gave me was a little bit below average of most hairdressers I went to that day: $60 for a wash, cut and blow dry. As I walked out again, I saw an advert on their window where it stated $45 for a shampoo, cut and blow dry (Tuesdays and Wednesdays only). Great price, I thought, and made an appointment. I can't complain about anything, service was good and I only had to wait for a few minutes when I arrived. As I only got a trim, I don't know what their expertise is like in terms of other cuts or colouring but I'd definitely go back for a trim!

There's just something about the way they cut my hair that I love. Owned by senior stylists, Mel and Letitia the salon is located on Unley Road just up from the Metro Shopping Centre (on the opposite side of Unley Rd). Of all the girls in the salon, I think just about all of them have done my hair at some stage. If you happen to pay them a visit for a new do, make sure you request "a treatment" when they're washing your hair out. "A treatment" comes with a 'to die for' head massage while you're simultaneously sitting in a massage chair at the basin ... oh and then there's some product put in your hair to make it all shiny. It quite honestly just takes you somewhere else. I admit to being a girly girl and I like being fussed over but a friend of mine who doesn't like all that fuss paid them a visit recently and was so impressed with her haircut, she asked to speak to the manager at the end of her appointment simply to praise her stylist - high praise indeed from someone who hates haircuts.
