I came in for my first visit back in December and was prompted upon checkout to book another appointment 4 months later, which I did. I dint receive any email or text then of the appointment, but figured I would be reminded closer to my appointment so I didn't mind. Day of, I received ONE text less than than 3 hours before my appointment asking to confirm. I clearly informed them that I was unaware of my appointment since this was the first correspondence. They proceeded to charge me with a $35 cancellation fee, without mentioning this. I only saw since I checked my bank account. I tried asking for a refund since I was not given sufficient notice to even cancel or reschedule my visit and there was no assistance and then they just stopped responding. The cancellation policy online states that if you cancel more than 3 hours before your visit, there isn't an issue, but I wasn't even texted more than 3 hours before, so this wasn't even an option for me. I think this is just a lazy way to get money out of people and reflects poorly on your ability to correspond with clients in a timely fashion.

The parking is on the street which can be a bit of a pain but I can generally find street parking within a block's walking distance. I did take a friend here for a pedicure once and I will say that maybe it was the day or tight timing, but it felt a bit rushed and unfriendly, which is a bit unfortunate. We checked in at the gift shop but then headed down the stairs to the salon itself, where water, tea, coffee or mimosas were waiting for you. After a few moments, our massage therapists greeted us and walked us back to the room and talked to each of us separately to understand what our sore areas were and what we needed most from our session. I've had quite a few massages in my life and this was hands down the best massage! She was gentle yet effective at getting out the knots and relaxing all of the sore muscles I had. I would easily come back to Well Spa for the massage alone! It was pure heaven. When it was over, even 80 minutes flies by too fast, we were offered water or tea and headed back to the waiting room where special Valentine's Day macaroons waited for us with our drinks. The pedicure was also very relaxing and my nail tech was extremely detail oriented and friendly! Upon check in, we were offered refreshments, from water to mimosas. The afternoon started with a deep tissue massage. My therapist, Debbie did an incredible job identifying knots and working them out. The entire experience was very calming. After the massage, we had appointments for pedicures. I left around 7:40 pm and was satisfied with the results but I didn't get any designs that would warrant the appointment taking 3 hours. I am writing this at 10:45 the following morning and one of the nails already popped off. Very disappointing since I am going on an 8 day vacation and now can't fix this.
