This was my very first time talking to a tree removal business with Arborists. The person answering the phone is not creating a welcoming feeling. She speaks is such a condescending tone. I was sorry that I called and bothered her at her job (sarcasm) She spoke very fast without any emotion and seemed so annoyed when I asked questions. She didn't even let me finish my reason for calling when she barked at me " Address., Name. " She made me feel as if she was way to busy to deal with a customer. (the reason she has this job) Then when I mentioned that I wanted them to answer a couple questions about some ornamentals, she replied "that will have to be a seperate appointment" I asked why I had to have a second appointment for just some questions. She did not reply. I just wanted to get off the phone. UGH. I have not received a call back regarding any quote appointment, etc. I will not use this company or recommend them. They should rethink how they allow office staff to speak to customers. I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced the attitude.

A branch fell on the neighbor's fence, loosening a board, and Fred's team repaired it without us even asking them to do it. We showed it to the neighbors and they were satisfied with the result. We had a wonderful tree company who understood want we wanted and preserved it. I also spent those years shaping a small tree near the locust in front so it had a flow toward the sidwalk. With the owner retiring and moving from Pgh I needed someone equally sensitive to tend to our trees. A while ago I saw Don Mason doing work for one of the fancy houses up the street. I asked him for an estimate and told him what we wanted. He said he understood perfectly. His estimate seemed reasonable. A few weeks ago he and his crew came. I greeted him and left him to his work. I was still on the first floor when I saw this huge nexus of limbs and foliage drop. I dashed out and saw the damage. I reminded him about keeping all of that. He looked at our front and said something like "I see", followed by "my bad". He left the stump of what remained saying locusts grow quickly. He was supposed to trim the smaller tree to the shape I'd created, but left suckers sticking up here and there. I let him work in the back, but found he didn't take out all the dead wood. Then he had the additional gall to send us a huge bill. in 5 minutes, he effectlively ruined 30 years of keeping our property and house enjoyable. When we come home now it's like a punch in the gut. The front looks crummy. And so do the views from the within our house. On top of that, our bedroom in the front no longer has shade, so the sun comes blazing in and the heat is now so high we have to have the A/C on longer and more frequently. If I could give minus stars I would.

We stopped by the Streets Run location hoping to talk with someone; the brother of the owner (or one of the owners?) was in the parking lot and gave us the number of the owner. We called the number, talked with him, and gave him our details. He was very accommodating and said he'd drop by the next day to check out our home's potential landscaping area. He didn't -- and he also didn't call back to reschedule. We'd shifted our plans and stayed home all day, waiting for some sort of check-in. My husband called him again mid-afternoon to see what the status was; there was no answer and no response to the message we left. That was last week. Your website looks great and your work seems wonderful. But if you waste people's time like this, it's just a non-starter.

They did not shovel the entire surface of the driveway. When a request and work order was submitted by our HOA owner would NOT honor the request and told our HOA President to tell me I would have to pay for the removal. He was…read moreso convincing that I said ok. what a nightmare, they had no idea about landscaping, there workers were nagging and asking me for ice water and cigarettes. they didn't even have a wheelbarrow, they were putting the mulch in plastic bags and pooling it from my driveway . finally, we lend them our wheelbarrow to use, it was ridiculous. They promised that they were doing the edging, they didn't have an edger, so the guy war using shovels to edge, and they quit after couple of them. they didn't even have a fork to spread the mulch. And they got the wrong mulch. they wanted $3K cash, I paid them so I can get rid of them. May be they are good at cutting trees but, please don't hire them for landscaping. They don't know what they are doing at all.
