I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars because they took the time to reach out, they showed true care and consideration, and they gave me a refund for the massage as they said they want to ensure most of all that I was happy. 12/18/21 - I came here for the first time ever to get a deep tissue massage. My appointment was early morning. When I walked in the front desk associate greeted me kindly and had me fill out paperwork. It wasn't long after that I was called back for my massage. The room setup looked nice. However, the room was ice cold. It was on the second story of this house. It was so cold that even the heated bed barely had an effect. The masseuse had ice cold hands too. So it was far from relaxing because it was like ice cubes touching you every time you are trying to relax. I don't blame her because I'm sure she was cold too. Obviously. What I didn't like was that I could hear my masseuse chewing her gum the entire time. Christmas music was playing the entire time too. I like Christmas music but not when I'm getting a massage...that's far from relaxing lol. You also could hear every noise in the building. Customers walking in downstairs and talking, loud random bangs, etc. I would not recommend coming here for a massage.

I was given a brief health history form to fill out, and I was able to specify what I'm hoping to get out of the massage, any injuries, etc. I enjoyed the opportunity to actually discuss with Julia, the therapist, which areas I'm hoping to improve....since I do have a right hamstring tendon injury and stiff neck. Not only did she help rehabilitate my leg, but she zapped stress in various trigger points (forearm, wrists, feet)....in places where I had long ignored. She also tipped me some advice on how to manage levels of tension especially in the feet as it does leave one prone to hamstring injuries. I really appreciated how she applied her experience and knowledge during our session. I do plan to come again. The amount of attention she puts into her client makes coming here worthwhile. Highly recommend!

I went to Joe last week for my first massage with him. I've been to many different LMTs over the…read moreyears because I like to test out different people because everyone does things differently. To start, the space where you receive your massage is in a very zen, cool space filled with things to help you relax and feel comfortable. It is located inside a mixed use building so there were several points where we heard people talking and yelling during the massage, so that was a bit annoying but not Joe's fault. If you're used to a spa like massage, this is not the place for you. That being said, I've had massages in all different types of spaces so I could get over the noise and still relax. The techniques he used were very unique and many I hadn't experienced before. I felt very loose and relaxed afterwards and noticed later that night I was extremely emotional so massage must have worked out a lot of emotions and built up tension. It was a very relaxing experience and the ambient music was perfect. Joe made sure to make sure I was comfortable many times and didn't talk much during the massage which I appreciated, as some LMTs are chatty when you're trying to relax. He also started off the session by explaining his approach and techniques which I really appreciated and helped make me feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back to him for a second massage when we pull out of the COVID orange-zone.
