However I felt compelled and wanted to insure that no one else falls for the unprofessional conduct by Wayne Nishimoto the owner of Centennial Hills realty. Over the years (approximately 7) Wayne performed adequately and it was obvious he did not go the extra mile. As an out of town landlord it was difficult to change property managers despite the fact I should have. As an example he attempted to contract for an airconditioning repair that was quoted at over $7200 dollars, I got the work done for $3200. In todays world electronic bank transfers happen immediately. But I kept getting the rent on the 8th-10th of the month over the years. Until February of 2019 when after third week of the month I had not received the rent. I contacted Wayne and he provided a flimsy excuse that he was having software problems. After numerous calls I got the rent 3 weeks late. The following month (March 2019) three weeks went by and the rent was not forwarded. I attempted to contact Wayne and found that he was now avoiding my calls and not responding to my texts. After I finally contacted him he again made up excuses as to why I was not getting the rent on time. After multiple demands he finally sent the rent on 3/28/2019 four weeks after it was collected. I terminated my business relationship with him for malfeasance. I asked that the security deposit money which was collected at the front end of the lease and was allegedly put into a trust account be remitted back to me. As of todays date 5-29-2019 (2 months later) I have not received the funds owed to the tenants of the 2 properties. I was informed by one of the renters that after he (Wayne) was fired he attempted to collect rent from them using heavy handed tactics and attempting to intimidate (he threatened to charge late fees).

Despite far surpassing the requirements of 3x rent and 650+ credit score, we were denied the ability to apply. The agent used our bank statements as the reason for rejection, but it did not add up at all. There are clearly discriminatory leasing practices happening here. They also ask for sensitive financial information outside of a secure mailbox, so please be wary! All in all, I'm happy I did not get far in the process because it would be a gamble down the line. There are a handful of individuals who have reviewed this business on Google who have had a negative experience. Unfortunately I would not recommend properties managed by this group as they will deny you regardless of meeting requirements. Not sure what the bias was but there was definitely more to the story! Sadly a waste of valuable time and energy.
