They don't have any restrooms. For a place like that to not offer restrooms at all, even for paying customers, is intentional and malicious.

If you've never stopped at Buc-ee's, you're missing out on one of the ultimate road trip…read moreexperiences. The first thing you'll notice is the seemingly endless sea of gas pumps--fueling up is quick and easy, even when the place is busy. Once inside, it's much more than a gas station. It's a massive travel center packed with snacks, drinks, gifts, clothing, home décor, and just about anything else you could imagine needing (or not needing) on a road trip. The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. The real stars, though, are the food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely worth the hype--fresh, tender, smoky, and piled high. Don't leave without grabbing some of their fresh jerky, either. With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to find a favorite. And then there are the bathrooms. I know it sounds strange to rave about a restroom, but Buc-ee's truly deserves the recognition. They are, without question, the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever used while traveling. That alone makes Buc-ee's a must-stop on any road trip. Even with the crowds, the employees are friendly, the checkout lines move incredibly fast, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Whether you're stopping for gas, grabbing a meal, stocking up on snacks, or just stretching your legs, Buc-ee's has turned a routine pit stop into a destination. It's one of those places that actually lives up to the hype, and I'll happily stop every chance I get.

All was great except for the so-called Crispy Chicken Bacon Avocado Wrap. Not ONE Sliver of BACON…read moreand NO AVOCADO. Just full of a few dried up pieces of chicken, shredded cabbage and lots of rice. It was a very DRY bunch of goop!! When you call (979)-238-6390 you are told to go to www.bucees.com. You go to that website to complain, enter your info but there is no place to submit your entry. You cannot complain but have to drive 50+ miles back to the store to show them their product. So you are stuck with a $9.49 piece of dried up crap!

On our weekend getaway to Georgia, my family finally checked out Buc-ee's at the Daytona location…read moreafter so many of my colleagues told me it was an absolute must-stop on any road trip. The best way I can describe Buc-ee's is that it's a gas station on steroids--or maybe the Costco, Sam's Club, or BJ's Wholesale Club of gas stations. It has just about everything, including some amazing-looking BBQ that everyone raves about. It definitely exceeded our expectations! We didn't try the food this time because, honestly, we just weren't hungry. I'm almost ashamed to admit I forgot to take photos. I was so overwhelmed trying to take everything in that I completely forgot. There was just so much to see! We did fill up with gas and went through the car wash, though. I have to say, it was one of the best car washes I've ever been through. We'll definitely be stopping at Buc-ee's again on our next road trip--and next time, I'm trying the BBQ!
