We wanted to make you aware of the experience because it was disappointing and did not reflect the level of service we would expect. The cashier on the other hand was very helpful and was willing to go look, but unfortunately had a line of customers, and we advise that we appreciated the gesture.

While fueling up, I looked up RaceTrac and it looks like it was started way back in 1934 by Carl Bolch Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. It has since expanded to over 550 locations throughout twelve states in the southern United States. I have never had any real issues at a RaceTrac and it is one of the brands that I woukd pick over other brands. All in all, this was an overall positive experience and I would recommend stopping here if you need gas and maybe something from the convenience store (or maybe a bit of both). This is also a favorite spot to pick up some cold drinks after dropping off a bunch of scrap at TMR further down 46 and on the way back to the shop. Staff here are friendly and pricing is on par with most convenience stores in the area, I recommend them.

Each lane has three pumps and when you're several cars back you may miss when the driver at the first or middle pumps drive off -- having the red/green pump indicator was a great idea. Even when the line is long, the wait isn't usually bad due to having the 3-in-a-row pumps versus other locations that have only 2-in-a-row. All of the stations have long connectors so you don't have to fret as to whether or not you're in a lane that matches the side that your tank is on. However, old habits die hard and I still prefer to wait in a lane that matches...even if the line is a little longer.

When there are long lines waiting to fill up your tank, these come in handy to know when a spot opens up for you. If you sign up on the Circle K app you regularly receive member rewards and fuel discounts that make stopping here worth the visit. The store is right off of a busy section of Sanford Ave. so you got to be careful getting in and out of the lot especially when they have discount fuel days. On discount fuel days it's really not worth the hassle because you'll be dealing with a parking lot shit show for about an hour since there is only four gas pumps and most of the time only three are functional. For those of you needing diesel, you will be happy to find they have two diesel gas pumps; however, it's usually one of the diesel pumps that's down when I stop here. Something to know about this location is that the gas pumps are too close together, It's difficult to fuel up side by side with the pump, you always have to pull forward past the pump to make adequate room for customers trying to get gas behind you. Something else that bothers me is there are several potholes and the lot is very uneven and bumpy throughout which is a bit of annoyance, but I can live with that for the discounts. The staff here are usually pleasant but if you come here often you'll get to know the manager her name is Nisha. Nisha is super sweet, friendly, and will chat it up with anyone. I wish everyone who worked at convenience stores had her amazing personality. For someone out of town I would not recommend stopping here after dark, some of the customers walking in tend to be sketchy at times, yet I have never had any issues when visiting day or evening hours. The store is relatively busy all the time and is a local hotspot for customers grabbing drinks, snacks, and meals togo. Much of this has to do with all the discounts and freebies provided through the app. If you're a coffee lover like me, know that they do have the fancy schaerer coffee machines with built-in grinder/brewer, so you're getting the freshest brewed coffee possible. I wish I could give this store more stars but it just can't compete with some of the larger newer gas stations available locally. They're usually all working in the trash cans next to the gas pumps are usually always empty. Which is convenient. Their café ordering system is super easy. You can order on your phone ahead. They have self service and a person you can check out with it usually very quick very little to no error in the café area. The bathrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking. One thing I will say about the layout of Wawa is that they have two entrances you can go in the back which is close by the bathrooms usually and the café area or you can go in the front if you're coming from the gas side.
