Other than being at the I-5 Solana Beach exit, I'm hard-pressed to recommend this Mobil station. When we stopped here two weeks ago, The Cash price for Regular gasoline was $4.699 per gallon and the Credit price was $4.799. Both are considerably higher than the average prices for North County. Several of the pumps were out-of-order. read more

The cashier was rude. I asked to use the restroom. He said it's not a public restroom. I agreed with that, but I said I would fill up my car. He didn't let me use it. Come on! They have a great location but bad customer service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Bad attitude and bad for business .Used their touch free car wash which did not fully clean my car. Was given greenlight to exit the car wash to find soap still all over my car. When asking the attendant for a refund and showing him video of my car with soap all over, he proceeded to tell me " the receipt says no refunds". I explained that I purchased a car wash which means I should at least exit with a clean car and because my car did not get cleaned, I should refunded (or a free car wash to go through again ). He proceeded to tell me that sometimes it does that and repeated " the receipt says no refunds, and I can take it up with management when they're in". Beware Mobil Gas Station on Lomas Santa Fe and Solana Hills Just want to warn neighbors please don't patronize this business they are running a scam on the air/water and should not be rewarded for this! I paid for gas and a car wash, then needed to put air in my tires. I went inside to ask them to turn on the air, as they are required to provide free air/water to paying customers (which I clearly was). Paty told me their inside control didn't work and she couldn't turn it on from the inside, so I would have to pay for the air outside. Ok, fair enough I understand sometime things don't function correctly. So I went back outside, paid $2.50 for the air and it still wouldn't turn on. I went back inside to get my money back, and "miraculously" Paty was able to turn the air on from inside, but refused to give me my money back. Clearly they are in violation of state law to provide free air to paying customers, and just lie and say they can't turn the air on for free. When I asked for my money back Paty just flat out said no I could not get my money back. She was extremely rude. It's not about the $2.50, obviously. It's about a business being ethical and not trying to rip off its customers. I have reported them to state (who probably will do nothing), so just want to provide a warning to all to avoid this unethical business - there are plenty of other gas stations in our neighborhood to patronize who aren't trying to rip off their customers! read more

Waited in line for the car wash for 20 minutes to get to the front and the sign said cash or code only. I didn't have any cash so I had to have the car behind me back up so I could get out to go inside to pay with my card to get a code. When I told the worker inside there should be a sign that says cash only a little farther away she said "all the regulars know". Very rude. I understand it's a drive through car wash, so the quality isn't amazing. However I drove through to get the dirt off but it barely did that. I have spoken to the owner before and obviously nothing has happened in light of all the additional reviews here about the same rude employees. the only thing I go for now is an occasional car wash. I'm getting my car washed right now. It seems like it's going pretty well for a machine. The gas pumps here are fast. There was no wait for gas but there was one for the car wash. It took like 20 mins for the three cars before me. Now I'm done. My windshield is still wet. The dryers are not that great, but I haven't seen the outside of my car yet. Will Keep you posted once I valet my car. A plus is the water sprayer gets all angels of the car and I liked that your car stays put during the whole process instead of other car washes where you have to creep towards the dryer. $12 for the premium car wash, which isn't too expensive given the area. But if you really need to get a wash here get the cheap one because it's honestly will be just the same. Save the two dollars! Overall, if you need a quick wash and you're in the area, then stop by. The company I work for has a corporate account with Mobil. I stopped at this location on 08/19 at 9:30 AM, my intent was to fill up, use the restroom and buy a cup of coffee. When I entered the station I noticed that they were not allowing customers to use the restroom. I asked the teller about this and she rudely stated that it is "out of order". I told her we were a national account who used their facilities and I'm tired of them expecting people to buy gas while not offering restroom facilities and that I will be taking our company business elsewhere. RUDE! I had witnessed an extremely curt and unprofessional exchange at this gas station between management and a customer several months ago, so I had not returned until a couple weeks ago when out of necessity my car was on empty. I filled up and bought a $12 carwash as well. After waiting 20 minutes in line, I needed to pick up my kids so I left knowing the code was good for awhile. I returned today with my code in hand, a couple days after the 10 day limit and asked if they could make an exception and allow me to use the code today as I was filling up and purchasing several snacks. I cannot tell you how unfriendly and downright mean they were. "Absolutely not." was their response. My husband said, "That's short sighted." I thought I would try this place today around 8:30 am. I could have gotten gas but decided no way at $4.63 there are much better gas options. I drove straight around to the washing tunnel there were 2 cars ahead of me. Come to find out the machine does not take debit card and there was no sign before entering about it. It does say it takes 10s 5s and 1s, so I gather $10 bucks in cash it's the cheapest wash option and we all know the cars come out looking the same from these type of washes no matter what you choose. The machine is so run down it no longer accepts cash and has no out of order sign and since it says wait for the wash I kept trying while getting sprayed from car ahead in the tunnel. No car wash for me and I have to wait for two cars to finish getting my dirty car wet just so I can leave since 4 cars were now behind me..This place should have a clear sign no debit or cash/ Code only for washes. I would have stopped inside to purchase one but after that I drove away. This location is a never again for me. Gas prices are always 10-20 cents above competing stations and the pump computers are slow. You have to wait for them to move between data entries and than wait some more while the pump asks if you want a car wash. I live in SB and hope you will join me in boycotting this place until they fix the pumps and bring their prices in line. read more

Little gas station tucked away on Lomas Santa Fe road right before you hit the I-5. Nothing really spectacular about this place. May have been a bit peeved now that I recall because the latch on the gas pump was broken and I had to hold the lever down the whole time gas was pumping. What, a Diva you say? :p A Dixieline and maybe a Sprouts(?) was right across from the station so 3 stars for the convenience of it all. This gas station may only still be in business because it is convenient, but they leave a LOT to be desired as far as customer service. I went in to return an item and they said, "Well, why didn't you bring it back on the same day?" Maybe because I didn't know I needed to return it on the same day. This is not stated on the receipt, I pointed out, so they were required to return my money, but were very rude about it. They also price gouge, as their gas is usually way higher priced than anywhere else in the vicinity. I would AVOID this station and go one more exit off the freeway.
