I absolutely loved working there.,,.but now they're Always hiring because they can't keep the employees that actually do work. Management is terrible. Does not communicate with employees. Accuses you of false allegations. You can't call out sick or else you get fired. The most dedicated employees that offer to work for people who are out, holidays, extra hours for the manager so she can stay home, but she gives you a attitude for offering... Literally can't keep any employees and I was fired for absolute bs reasons and not even true reasons. The manager fired me for calling out sick for 2 days (I have proof) and then made up 3 fictitious reasons to tell the owner that I supposedly did, without having a meeting with me first, owner decided to unfortunately believe manager( manager is engaged to son of owner which should have no bearing on meeting with the owner and the manager and myself regarding the accusations that the manager was claiming. 1: 2 of the employees said that I was smoking in the bathroom. When I came out of it, it smelled like cigarette smoke.. I smoke cigarettes and I would go out and smoke a cigarette and then I could come in and clean the bathroom. Or if I had to take my bag in the bathroom with me it would smell like cigarette smoke. I never once smoked in the bathroom. I would think the smoke detector would go off. Or the rest of the store would smell like cigarettes. I went outside in the freezing cold, wind, rain, snow, when I was bringing the trash out, or taking a 5 minute break. I was told I had customer complaints and I was never told about them but I let the manager and the owners son know about 2 incidents that just happened to happen on the same day and I was told by the manager to not serve the family from the first incident and I was told about the gas stop button and the 2nd incident I made the owners son aware of because he had come into the store and I had witnesses to both incidents. 3: manager said that my register was off. And I said that was the first time I am being made aware of all of these things and she said that she told me that my register was off before with the lottery. I explained that I have my number in the register but 2 other people are using my register at the same time as me. I can't be held responsible for the register being off when I'm not the only one using my register. She never said anything prior to that day about any of the issues. Which if we had a meeting with the owner and the manager, I believe the fictitious accusations of me smoking in the bathroom would have been proven false because of hear say, the complaints I don't believe ever happened.. I would help people out with the extra money to get what they wanted if I had the money, I had my regular customers, I did more than I was supposed to (I got yelled at for cleaning an area before it was due) I did 3rd shift work when I was done with my work,.. I was eager to learn new things.. I absolutely loved working there!! I looked forward to going to work.

Just the manager needs to get gone!
I'm not sure why the owner hasn't noticed the rate of employees that go through and don't stay? He is such a great man. read more
