Starting with Mary Ellen and Myrna out front and my workouts with Denise, Brian & Phil; everyone's professionalism and expertise was consistent throughout my 6 week engagement. Seemed like they knew exactly when to show the correct way to do a specific exercise, add a little more weight or reps, and encourage when it "appeared" to be a little too much. Day one I hobbled in with two crutches and bounded out on my last day of therapy skipping and hopping. Would highly recommend you avoid the fall but...if you need PT, this is a great place to heal. The exercises I have been given have helped stretch my old, tired muscles and have lessened the pain considerably. Every time I think we're about to do something we've done before, they come up with something new. Everyone on staff is very professional and uses a computer to Mark progress. I really can't imagine a better place. The equipment is state of the art, and I highly recommend Cora to anyone, with any problem. When I first came to Cora, I was unable to straighten my legs and they were getting bowed. They are much better and stronger now. I have highly recommended this business many times over the years as I felt they were very caring, friendly and resolved my problems quickly. The care of each patient was always #1 priority and every minute of the 1 hour visit was always used. Recent changes that have came about with the new owners are terrible to say the least. They have lost excellent therapists and now are forcing the therapists to schedule 2 patients for the same hour. This policy is dangerous to the patients leaving them alone while working with their other patients especially since a lot of us have balance problems and should not be left alone. My one on one hour today was at best 15 minutes and the rest of the time I was alone while she took care of the other patient. This has nothing to do with the therapists as I think they are the best but putting money ahead of the patient is just bad business along with billing our insurances for a 1 hour visit. I just received my visit approval letter today and it specifically calls for the full 1 hour to be broken down into 4 individual 15 minute segments. I can't imagine that any of the regular patients are happy about this change and my guess many of them will be in search of another location for their therapy. I don't see this company being in business much longer with this type of treatment of patients and charging our insurance companies for 2 patients in the same hour. Kinda sounds like double dipping. My first 2 sessions with Andrew and Karen were fantastic. My hip, shoulder and wrist need gentle work and these 2 therapists gave it. I made great improvements in a very short time. My 3rd visit was a different story. Instead of Andrew, I had Michelle and Karen. Karen was great as usual. My wrist was hurting and she helped it. She also did an eval that showed I was making progress! Michelle was a different story. Her technique seemed to be More! Faster! Harder! She snapped at me when I asked her to stop pressing so hard on my psoas muscle. She was the opposite of Andrew and she hurt me. By the time I got home, I was in so much pain that I was frantic. I left a message asking them to call me back in the morning. The pain got worse despite my efforts to alleviate it and I left another message. It was late, I was alone and I was more frantic. Michelle called me the next day to tell me that my pain was my fault (!) because I did not tell her at the time that I was in pain. (I did tell her at the time that what she did hurt me.) I ended that call. Andrew called me later to tell me I was FIRED! Instead of helping me, they punished me for being in pain. I'm very upset to lose Karen, as an excellent hand/wrist therapist is hard to find and also to lose Andrew, who was also helpful. Of course, this is a horrible way to treat a patient who is in pain because of your actions.

Explanations are complete, reasons are logical, discussions are intelligent. I had a right total knee replacement and within two months I was in a wonderful shape because of them. My main therapist was Danielle and she was outstanding. The facility is clean, neat, and very welcoming. I recommend them wholeheartedly. I have been a critical care nurse over 30 years and would recommend them to my patients, my family, my friends, and anybody I run into on the street. I will add that this is not the first time I have used this facility for physical therapy and occupational therapy so I feel very qualified to give them such a stellar recommendation.
