I have an '03 and it's hard to find people who even want to work on them. I dropped it off and explained my issues, coolant leak, small oil leak, wanted to upgrade the lights, etc. I told him to take his time, since I'd have to come all the way back down from Ky to pick it up, I was in no hurry. He kept me informed, there was an issue with a part being on national backorder and if there were any other issues he let me know. He also talked with me about some things that are common with VTX's and answered any questions I had. I expected to faint at the price for all I had asked him to do, but he was VERY reasonable and affordable. On a side note, I'm a female and I didn't feel like he treated me differently than he would have any other person walking through the door. He didn't try to talk to or explain anything to my husband instead of me and I only mention this because I know a lot of mechanics who do. I wish this shop was closer but even still I wouldn't hesitate to ride back down if I needed to. What an amazing little shop and knowledgeable owner! I HIGHLY recommend!

I found the shop by luck from my google search. Reviews look promising & as I was traveling alone I wanted to find a trusted shop if I could. Well, I did! Grady got me with a tow truck, got my trailer situated at his shop and even let me use his utilities as we had to stay the night to wait on the part. He ended up saving me $300 on the part (my vacuum pump went out) and had us back on the road by the next morning. I wish he wasn't a 3 1/2hr drive to get to otherwise he'd be my new mechanic!!
