They also asked if I wanted to purchase some coconut oil or some special oil and that would be $10 more. I was to pay ahead of time. Seems odd to pay for a service that I didn't get yet. I was escorted to a clean room with no instructions. There was a printed sign on the wall that people who acted inappropriate could be discharged at any moment. I like that. I laid face down and a woman worked on me named "Judy". She did not speak very good English. She did not ask if there were trouble spots that she should work on. But from that moment on, I was very satisfied. She worked very hard, was very thorough, using all of her strength to deliver an excellent massage. At one moment, she disappeared from the room and I wondered if I was done. Three minutes later she came back with hot stones and finished up my massage. When I left, I wanted to tip her. They let me use my former credit card slip to leave a tip on. I will certainly be coming back. She did an amazing job.

After getting there and getting into a room which was nice and clean, I was ready for my massage but she wasn't quite ready for me. The massage started about five minutes late which is no big deal because most places will make that up at the end by going over the amount of time they started late. Soon after she started with the massage her phone rang in the lobby. She answered it and talked about 4 or 5 minutes to a potential client. She came back in and started to massage again then she received a text. She left to answer that. She returned to finish the foot she started and moved over to the other foot. As I was telling her about some issues with this foot and where it was really painful, she got another call. I looked at my watch and noticed she was gone five minutes with this call. When she came back I informed her again about the problem area which she glossed over and went through her routine of just a basic massage to fill time. At the end of the one hour she promptly said that it's been one massage done. I did give her a small $5 tip in spite of the fact that I only received about 40 to 45 minutes of an hour massage and she didn't address the issues I was hoping to get looked at. I will not return.

Unlike another reviewer, I did have to fill out a waiver and information sheet about why I was visiting and any allergies. The English level of the staff was adequate! And hand signals, body language get through the rest of it. Some customers just don't seem to have patience maybe? A lavender scented cotton steam mask was provided as part of the massage. At many walk-in massage shops, they seem to use cheap low quality lotion. It smells bad and dries out my skin due to the alcohol content. The therapist here used Tiger Balm!! It made for a really pleasant and deep massage, with the healing properties of the balm. I love the smell, but it may not be to the liking of others. I did not pay more for the Tiger Balm but they also have some aromatherapy oils for additional cost. My foot massage took a whole 60 minutes and it was just feet and legs. Some places also do a mini neck and back. Didn't bother me - if I wanted a back massage I would have paid for one! Five stars would have been for a slightly elevated experience such as a private room and candles/ambience. I'll definitely be back and will try a back massage.
