Being that I'm from Alabama and not knowing the area they made me feel so welcomed. The receptionist always greeted me with a smile and every time I would called she answered like she was waiting on my call. A really nice women. As for my chiropractor (Dr. Alicia Castelhano) I could spend the next three days explain the lengths that she went through for me. She listened to each one of my issues and where i was thinking that the pain derived from. She made sure is was a comfortable and that it was as painless as possible. She even emailed me stretches that I could do on my own if my pain started acting up again. I've never met another chiropractor that went through what she did to help me with my pain. And that's here in Canada and back home in Alabama. She even asked for my chiropractors information so she could reach out to make sure that he stays on the same regiment as she began to try and correct my issues. After showing up, my mother was brought in for her massage and after sitting for 15 minutes waiting for my RMT and watching the receptionist call over and over, and finally get a hold of her i was told she wont be coming in b/c she doesn't feel well. So glad that people take their jobs seriously to NOT bother calling into work and let the staff know. I then booked another appointment and waited out the hr for my mother. I had then booked my boyfriend and myself to go back to back for massages. He went in for his scheduled time, i waited the hour for my appointment then i was told that there was a mistake and my appointment is NOT today rather the following Saturday! When i spoke to the receptionist, i had her repeat 3 times my booking. The receptionist let me know that b/c of all the confusion she would add on an extra 30 mins to the massage when i come in. Well i went in, got ONLY 1 HOUR of a massage and was told that the manager cannot bill the RMT for only 30mins. Dr. Barb Smith is the doctor at this establishment. I've been coming here on and off for over 8 years and have been thoroughly satisfied with their services. The office is open concept and the atmosphere natural and friendly. Leslie is usually the attendant you meet upon arrival and she's a real treat as well. Dr. Barb will tailor the service to your specific needs. For instance, I prefer not to have manual neck manipulations, so she uses activator only in that area. Dr. Barb also monitors my knees and ankles for wear & tear from my active joint-cracking lifestyle. She's also got a wealth of knowledge in homeopathic products and nutrition, so don't hesitate to seek her expertise on those fronts if you employ her service. I had a horrible experience with Tom Fung the owner of Holistic Acupuncture Clinic. I went to him…read morewhen I was in an immense amount of pain, and he took advantage telling me I had all sorts of health problems just from looking at my tongue and feeling my pulse. He pushed me on a package that was almost $400. I told him in our meeting that I would need to check with my health insurance first, but he persisted to push the package through. When I called him today to let him know that I needed the services broken into separate invoices, he hung up the phone on me! He also pushed herbal medication that was $75 and told me that I needed to take it for 1-week and he didn't even give me enough pills. When I brought this up as well, he argued back and hung up the phone on me again. He is also extremely full of himself. In my meeting with him he was bragging that people come from all over the world to see him. He also was telling me that I was 'so lucky' that he had even fit me in on the day that I saw him. The truth is that he wasn't a savior in the end, as I was in excruciating pain by nightfall after seeing him and had to take a combination of Tylenol 2 and Naproxen to manage the pain. I never leave reviews, but Tom Fung's conduct was appalling.
