My daughter and I was in Branson for about a week last month and we came here twice as my daughter loved it. You walk in and can order a coffee, if you want, and pay your admission fee for the cat area. Everything is priced pretty well and the drinks that my daughter and I got were tasty. The employees were really nice as well. My daughter bought one of the cat stuffed animals, which was reasonably priced at $15. After giving the attendant our admission ticket thing, we were allowed to roam around the two large rooms with all the kitties. We didn't have to wait when we went into the cat area but we saw people waiting when we walked out the first time. Most kitties are friendly but they do warn you of a couple that aren't so friendly; which is fine since they are all rescue cats. It was just fun walking around, petting and playing with the random cats. As I said before, my daughter LOVED this place and we would have went back for a third time if we would have found out about the place earlier in our trip. This was truly a fun time! We went on "Purrssday" (Thursday) for the admission ticket and drink for 30 minutes and it was perfect! The staff are super friendly and kind. This was a fun and unique destination for our cat-loving family. The drink options are creative--some are named after breeds of cats. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. As for the cat rooms, there's plenty of room and plenty of cats! Some friendly and some not--because they're rescue cats, some are just less used to people and need to be given their space. Claws are sharp, so much so that even a friendly paw will catch on skin or clothes. No wonder there are waivers to sign before going in the cat room. There's also a bit of a smell, because cats live there. (We played with the cats first and got our coffee afterward.) If you need some kitty therapy, this is your place. The parking is plentiful and the property is spacious. There is a good selection of drinks available so coffee isn't the only option. I had a smoothie and it was very good. The staff was friendly and fast, the cattendent was very knowledgeable about the cats in the lounge and knew their habits and personalities. We live in the Branson area and this was the first time visiting Mochas and Meows. We first walked in and saw all the merchandise that they have for sale. They had some cute cat items. We went up to the young lady at the coffee bar and she asked if we'd ever been there before. She was very friendly. We ordered a couple of coffee drinks. They both tasted horrible and we threw most of it in the trash. After ordering our coffee we went to purchase passes for $8 each, to go in for 30 minutes. The young lady went over the rules in "cat words". It was corny but cute. She told us that there were more than 40 cats but we probably only saw 15 so I have no idea where the others were. Most all of the cats were sweet and wanted to play. I would of loved to brought Solstice home with me. She was beautiful and so sweet. When we first walked in there it really hit us with the smell. I understand they have a lot of litter boxes so it's kinda hard to not have some smells but it was bad. The floors were dirty. I know they are going to have cat fur and some dirt but it looked like they hadn't swept in a week. There was even a little bit of cat poop on the floor. It just really needed vacuumed and everything wiped down good. We really did enjoy the cats though, so the smell wouldn't stop us from going again. read more

They have a very simple reservation system online with quick responses from the owner to guarantee you a spot to spend time with the cats. They do offer walk-in's on a very limited basis as most reservations are booked days ahead. Didn't reserve in time? No worries, you can still take part in a quick bite and drinks while viewing the cats through the cafe window which is also a great option if you have little ones who might be too rough with the cats. You can tell the cats are well cared for and loved by the workers and owner. The room has plenty of toys, comfy furniture, blankets, relaxing music, and cat TV. It's also clean without any odors. What's great is each cat is available for adoption with the exception of their live-in residents (at the time of posting this there are 4 of them). They also offer cat yoga and special seasonal events during the week with treats and crafts. Not into cats? No worries! Just stay in the cafe and enjoy a delicious panini or parfait with a boba tea, smoothie, or delicious hot/iced/blended coffee drink. I've had several seasonal and normal coffee drink options and never have a complaint. Better than Starbucks and actually goes to a great cause helping provide funding for the cats' needs and vet bills as many of the cats taken in are in rough shape and require extensive medical care prior to being ready to be adopted out. read more

Oh, wow. Pet cats and drink coffee? Perfect. Never been to a cat cafe before so we decided to stop in on our trip to Branson. We went three times. I tried a Neville with mango boba and a pumpkin pie chai (unsweet, they were out of the sweet stuff). The boba was the kind that pops in your mouth, not the chewy kind. They were both delicious! Five bucks for fifteen minutes of cats, we got this option because we were pressed for time but will definitely spend an hour there next time because of how much we enjoyed it. It was so calming. The cats are rescue cats, and some of them were still needing to be used to humans and the idea that we're not malevolent to them, so some don't like to be petted. They were adorable. Morning is the best time to come because that's when the cats are active the most. (We went back at lunch and they were all sleeping, plus that's what a worker told us.) The girl working there was very informative and nice and told us about the cats we played with and the place we were in. There are cat toys everywhere and even cat tv! There is also a gift shop with shirts and toys. The atmosphere was cozy and we will definitely be coming here again on our next trip to Branson. Five stars. read more

I love everything about this place! I am so glad they had a billboard as we drove into town and that we stopped in to make a reservation to pet the cats while we were in town. The cats are very chill and most are up for adoption too. It's only $10/hr per person to visit and they limit the amount of people in the room pretty well. My girls had a blast petting and playing with all the cats and I made friends with Tripp who is an adorable permanent resident with three legs who likes to be left alone for the most part, but who warmed up to me since I was just sitting on the couch watching my girls. This was my first cat cafe!! So of course, some things didn't exactly live up to my expectations. More cats were more aloof than not, and a lot of sleepy babies provided nice pets but I also didn't want to disturb them. The tea I ordered used a tea bag, which I didn't expect. It also spilled on me each time I tried to drink it, which ended up being a result of overfilling. (I found this out after opening the lid and having tea splash everywhere.) I did end up buying a cat carrier for my own fur babies, and it did seem to be cheaper compared to similar carriers online. It's a backpack carrier, but not a dangerous one like the bubble cat backpack. I liked the cat furniture hanging on the wall and will definitely take inspiration for when I'm able to have my own place. The mural was also pretty cute and I'm surprised my mom didn't want our pictures in front of it lol. The best cat cafe I've been to in my travels and surprisingly I'm BRANSON. This place is so well run. Great selection of beverages, and GOOD beverages. Amazing cat decor without being corny - it's all great plus a mix of art and goods for sale by local artists. The Purrista was amazing - she worked quickly solo plus I was impressed by her use of Alexa to set timers for the groups as she worked, chatted and greeted everyone. A true multi-tasker. They play Christian music in the main cafe, soothing spa music in the cat room. The owner is a music fan and there is good Charlotte, panic at the disco and fall out boy memorabilia on the walls. In the cat room, Wendy was knowledgeable about the cats and chatted with everyone and made it extra fun. I am traveling for work and sat to catch up on email with a furry friend on my lap. I am so FURtunate to have found a place that not only has adoptable cats to play with (in a separate room than the cafe) but also a PAWsome coffee shop (I'm sipping on strawberry mocha that tickles my fancy) and cafe (currently munching on a yummy turkey quesadilla sandwich with chips). It's so cute and PURRty in this place with feline decor and gifts (now sporting a CLAWsome cat ear headband).
