It could use some updating...in fact, if you want to meet me there early some Saturday morning, we'll paint it. But what it is, is an old-school place, just like the one your grandfather took you to, and there are precious few experiences like that still out there, at least, in this corner of Fairfield County. The barbers are friendly and helpful. Russ, the owner, is especially patient with kids. Plenty of off-street parking right in front of the door, reasonable prices, and a great location, just off the beaten path but close to Route 8, the Parkway, and Barnum Avenue.
