I never authorized for him to move my car to anywhere. He charged my insurance for taking off parts, Which he never removed. Joey happened to be driving by and saw my car pulled off to the side. He pulled over and offered to help out. He had my spare tire on in less than 5 minutes and I was quickly back on the road to work. I offered to pay, but he did the job free of charge. I later found out, he was actually off-duty - on his way to a tee-time, and was still willing to help out!! This act of kindness was unexpected and a rare thing these days. Joey was a gem. They called me scared, afraid and did not know what to do. I called Chris transport, to see if he could go to the scene of the accident and help my friend out. I gave him the location, and he said he's on his way. Once he arrived my friend called me and thanked me and said that he was very helpful and comforting in her time of despair. He towed her car to a body shop that he was familiar with. He then told her if she needed help legally, meaning if she needed to be referred to a lawyer he also can help. My friend called me last night, to tell me that they picked up their car and the work that the Bodyshop did, was amazing. Thank you Chris for helping my friend. Whether you are just getting the oil changed or getting something bigger and worse done you can trust him. He is the mechanic - mechanics go to. Rick is a straight-shooter who will try to save you money where he can and tell you whether it is worth it or not to replace a part. He will call before he does the repair if you want him to or make the repair if given the go-ahead. I bottomed out my Golf and punctured the oil pan. I got the thing towed to him and the NEXT day he called to say it was ready. I was prepared for a very hefty bill, but instead he sent the aluminum oil-pan out for welding and finishing...good as new and only 75 bucks compared to 400 for a new pan. He didn't HAVE to but he did it that way. I trust him. The neighborhood is SKETCHY at best but his lot is locked over-night.
