At first, everything was going smoothly. Our project has gone on for over a year now. We are too busy... we don't have the supplies (I checked at Menard's each time and the product used was there)... we are short handed... it's too hot. The patio has broken and has sunk. The wrong drains were installed. The driveway has cracked because the drain that goes underneath DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A FULL LENGTH OF TUBING so any material has washed out making the entire slab weak. The design of a portion was tweaked without permission and now my dog can jump over the fence if we don't bring her out in a lead. The entire project is subpar.

Once we made our selection, they contracted our job to L & S All Out Contracting. It is a smaller contracting team but they are all very knowledgeable and we were impressed with the initial contact with the owner, Michael. He explained how the work would be done, a so nothing they did was a surprise. We were very glad that they. Carefully remove our baseboards and trim, then reused it at the end. They caulked and cleaned it up so nicely, I don't have any touch up to do! That is a lot of labor intensive and attention to detail work, and we are very happy with the results! At the time, we also decided we would be changing the facade of our fireplace so we added some work, independent of the floors, so we could get the floors put in and ready for the fireplace surround change. They made everything so seamless. We also replaced the toilets in the house and added a new shower head. These extra things were really nice to get done at the same time they were doing the floors, rather than having to do it at a later date. When I had any questions throughout the whole process, they explained everything to me. All four, Kyle, Trent, Mitchell and Michael, were very fun to work with and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy at each step of the job!

Demma Floor Sanding refinished our living room and dining room wood floors . We snapped "before and after" photos and could not believe the difference! I hired Demma Wood Floors to sand and stain my oak hardwood floors. I had to remove or cover…read moreeverything and leave my home for 4 days. When I returned to was shocked! The stain was exactly right and they showed up on time, but the job done was horrible. There were spots where they didn't even sand and the stain didn't take. Stain was globed on and set too long in some places. All around the edges of my floors the stain was not rubbed to the edge and then set too long in other spots, creating black pools of stain and splotches. There were circular sanding marks all through out my wood floors. The stain was obviously not put on with the grain of the wood but against it! When I contacted the company I was told by Pete that he could not come over because he had his kids. He could not come the next day either. Finally the following evening after I treated to call my lawyer, he showed up. He had nothing to say for himself, just that he was unable to do the job and I should hire someone else. He will not charge me. Not charge me? Gee thanks- how about I charge him for another 3 nights away from home that I will have to stay when I get someone else to fix my floors. Or another 100 bucks to board my dog! Or the inconvenience, I have 3 small children. Or the work lost, my husband works from home. Or the life lost off of my floors. You can only sand floors so many times. I'm livid! He really didn't offer much of an apology either. When I asked if he did the job himself he said, "does it matter?" He didn't even ask as if he wished to see the vandalism done to my home. I had to insist he look at the dozens of areas in which his company had destroyed my floors. He should have offered to have someone else stain my floors and he pay for it. After all I have lost a sanding of my wood. I probably only have one left after this before the entire floor needed to be replaced. The person who did this to my floor used no care. Has no pride in his work. Needed to be fired!
