The prices seemed on par with the rest too, but let's be honest, I'd gladly pay a little more if it means I'm getting quality service. Kyle installed a water softener, fixed some of my water shut-offs downstairs, and checked over the hot water heater. He was very nice to talk with and even cleaned up after himself, which is something I'm not used to with tradesmen. I would definitely recommend them!

They weren't sure if or where the back up was and didn't have a snake that could go into the main with them at the time. I called them back due to the pipes backing up. They were quick to schedule an appointment to come help fix the issue. 30 minutes later i got a call from them saying they can't come and fix it. They dont have the tools and the truck that the tools were on was just in a car accident and the employees in the truck had to get over 100 stiches, had a broken hand and was in surgery. They couldn't get me a date on when theyd have the tools or could help me and told me to contact roto rooter. Roto Rooter helped without an issue, the back up was not in a main and it was very easy for them to tell just by asking if anything other then my washer and kitchen sink backed up. It took Roto Rooter less then an hour and the cost was half of that I had to pay Tureks.

horrible....!! mike came over and provided me with a verbal…read moreestimate for work i was looking to have done as well as an approximate date as to when he could fit the work in. within several days the number he provided me as an estimate, was still in my head and i was looking for the numbers to be put on paper so i emailed him for a written estimate, which i never received. several weeks later i attempted to contact mike again with regard to the work being done to see if we were still on schedule as well as to inform him that one of the several projects i was looking to have completed no longer needed to be done as my dad had taken over that project. again no response. another week or 2 passed and i send a text message to mike, again checking to see if the work is still on schedule, and again, no response. this is not the way to run a business. if something changes, not replying to a customer is horrible business sense and i WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PERSON FOR WORK ----- QUITE THE OPPOSITE......I TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH JACOBSEN HANDYMAN SERVICES

He was on time and gave me a verbal estimate right then. He seemed very knowledgeable and did the repairs well and in a reasonable amount of time. The final bill came in below his estimate. The repaired parts of the house look great. I will certainly call him again the next time something breaks and recommend him to my friends.

I live at Richmond Terrace and had a furnace/air conditioner replaced by Bob's Heating. This was a…read more$7000-$8000 installation. Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.
