I went in for a cleaning and Dr. Desai proceeded to tell me that I have multiple cavities and needed 7 fillings on each side of my mouth (14 total). As someone who has never had a cavity or filling before, this was very alarming. He also looked at my X-rays and tried to tell me that I have had a filling before. To this I responded, no I have never had a filling before. And he responded, yes you have. I should have walked out then and there, but I proceeded with the cleaning. After that I was very scared, thinking somehow I have a ton of cavities for the first time in my life. Trusting my gut, I decided to get a second opinion at a different dentist. The dentist there assured me that I have ZERO cavities, and ZERO signs of any cavities forming! Imagine if I would have trusted Dr. Desai, I would have 14 fillings in my teeth for no reason! DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!
