During covid, my back tooth cracked, a crown broke, it was just all not good. Going to see Dr. Salesky and his team was the smartest thing I've done. Judgement free and an amazing staff. The first thing he asked me is "what don't I like about my smile". At first I was a bit surprised since the back of my mouth needed help but I told him one of my teeth looks discolored. Well not only did Dr. Selensky and his team jump into action repairing the back teeth but before I left, he had adjusted the shade of my front area tooth and it was like a gift. Gentle, kind, patient and so very thoughful. That is for everyone in the office. They all go above and beyond. Simply amazing. My message: Don't be afraid, just call and I know you will feel the same way. I've been with him now for a few years and he takes his time discussing options, your choice always and while my teeth were not in amazing shape, I trusted him and today I left there with tears in my eyes because my smile had never looked better. You don't know how good it feels to smile until you haven't been smiling for a long time. Thank you to all of you at Southington Dentistry - keep making the world smile! He found a lot of "dental deficiencies" that, for some reason, my previous dentist didn't "catch". Doctor Lee is excellent! A very professional & knowledgeable dentist. Soft spoken. He explains everything as he is doing it. VERY good/gentle hands. He's constantly asking me if I'm okay. I have a particular "phobia" of dentist due to negative childhood experiences. Doctor Lee is aware of this and does everything to keep me at ease. I've already seen him 3 times in the past couple of months. I still have two more appointments to go in order to "finish" taking care of all the issues that he found. I honestly and strongly recommend this practice and Dr Lee in particular. I hope I'm getting his name right! I am having issues with my dental insurance co. (Anthem Blue Cross) but that has nothing to do with this particular dental practice. Sparks Dental explains everything regarding my insurance: what's covered by insurance, my co-payments (they text me this info prior to my appointments), exclusions, etc. All in all, I really recommend this dental practice. -February 2026

However, I am thankful that the toothache took me to such a great office with an excellent team. From the reception front-office team that had all the info upon arrival and did not even require me to check-in - Which may not seem much to some people, but for someone who has always followed pre-visits instruction and has taken the time to fill in all the requested forms ahead of time - only to get to the office and then ask to do it again - This office has the process down packed, and it was a pleasant surprise to just walk in & all was ready. To the hygienists & assistant whose welcoming attitude and solid useful advice on things we forget to do right (ie, flossing, toothbrush change, etc) was on-target and very helpful, To Dr. Mat Sparks who took the time to review the x-rays in great detail and summarize the findings with a focus on educating me on what was important/timely and what were things to think about for later - along with providing me with key factors to think about in the cost evaluation of what strategy to take with the tooth/filling that was causing me problems. This was also one of the cleanest dental facilities I have visited nationwide (I travel extensively so have visited a few on the road), and with state of the art equipment. Dental check-ups are not one of my favorites, but very much appreciated finding such a good place and group of people that exceeded my expectations. Thank you.
