Rob and Rocky did the renovation with our extension, fitted the new kitchen and turned our old…read morekitchen into a utility room. The project was clearly over their head as Rob has miscalculated everything from how much time it would take (he scheduled 4 weeks, that gradually turned into 8) and how much it would cost. There has been a lot of inconsistencies in the quality of work which began as decent that gradually turned sloppy. Lack of communication - you could never reliably count on them to turn up. Lack of care - lots of kitchen fittings had to be replaced from damage while fitting, as well as the hob. They dented furniture they didn't bother covering up, left cigarette butts everywhere for us to pick up - the garden, the driveway, neighbour's side of the driveway... the most frustrating aspect of working with them is that Rob seems to be incapable of delivering 'bad news'. He would promise something to get off the 'hook' for that moment then ignore your calls and messages after. There are still ends that need to be tied but he keeps cancelling at the last minute or without any notice. We've now given up and finishing them ourselves. I would give Renovated 7/10 for their quality of work but 3/10 as a business and have no plans on using them again.

We went to their workshop and they were extremely helpful and friendly. We looked at different…read morematerials and the options that were available (we selected quartz) and they gave us a quote for the work. The work went ahead and they arrived on the arranged date and measured up. The quartz was prepared and fitted about 10 days later. We had the worktops, upstands and splashback fitted and it was installed, joined and finished to an excellent standard (I have never seen better) and to the agreed schedule. The adhesive used did smell while setting but this soon went away. All the work was completed with minimal fuss or mess. The worktop is really spectacular and our builder was extremely impressed and has also recommended Marble Supreme. I would definitely use them again.

It's a small shop, but it has a really good artistic atmosphere, and when I went in, although I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I had a lengthy chat with the assistant. They run glass making courses, where you can create an object of your own making under their guidance, which sounds like an appealing idea. They deal with both residential projects and large commercial ones - they've installed a number of stained glass pieces in a few restaurants and office buildings. This is a really interesting shop - just pop by for a chat if nothing else.

Well it survives and them some...the staff are extremely friendly and showed me their pieces. I imagine some of them would look exceptional in a contemporary kitchen or bathroom. The colours are vivid and you know that you are getting something unique as all the pieces are made lovingly by the two owners and the two owners alone. This is the sort of local business that deserves your support, so go on the website, have a browse and start looking at that dingy bathroom that could do with a bit of decorating!
