I went today with a group of friends. We did not schedule an appointment but they were able to seat us right away. We went for a no chip manicure and one pedicure. My sister loved her pedicure and felt pampered. When we started the no chip I noticed the lady did not take off much cuticle and told her I felt more cuticles needed to be removed, and she explained to me that the color and no chip aspect of it was 35 and adding the manicure would be another 5 dollars. I was very surprised, it felt extremely expensive, they wanted to charge me 35 for just painting my nails??? Maybe it's because I'm from Chicago, but I felt it was over priced. I ended up agreeing to having more cuticles removed for the additional 5. I'm glad I did because the cuticle bothered me. My friend however did not, they didn't know and just assumed the manicure was included, as I did. I appreciate the lady being able to go back and remove my cuticles. The lady very nice and offered me water. I feel she did a good job. Overall good employees but bad prices. Also I appreciate the fact that they check our temperature before seating is and require us to wash our hands. read more

I went in on a Saturday morning right when they opened for a walk in pedicure and my experience was great. I'll make appointments in the future, but getting in right away with a walk in was very nice and the service was very professional. The place was very clean and I appreciated that customers are asked to wash their hands when they come in and that masks are enforced and worn correctly. My pedicure looks great and I was pleased with how quickly it was completed. I'll definitely be returning and can't recommend this place enough for how great the service is, how professional staff is, and how clean the place is. read more

No. Just no. Don't go there. These people (especially Michelle) are the most miserable, unhappy people you could ever meet. They treat their long term customers like sh*t. I don't know why they have awards because their work is not very good either. If you get dip or no chip, it's so thick and looks so fake. Pedicure is terrible! Last time I was there, the woman cut me and there was blood everywhere. There was one person who sort of did a good job (Holly) but it was inconsistent. Well... my girlfriend went to get her pedicure done at this place. She said the lady who dId her pedicure was sloppy, terrible and didnt do a great job. Michelle does an awesome job. She's given me gel manicures for the last 3 mos and each one lasts 3 weeks. I have no chips at all and only have to have my nails redone because of outgrowth. She's very efficient and experienced. read more

I would NOT recommend this salon! I went in to have my acrylics removed which they had applied. When I called I was told it would be a soak off plus the manicure. The nail tech instead literally ripped the acrylics off using an acrylic nail. I kept wincing and telling her it hurt and she continued. Then she proceeded to apply clear nail polish over the residue left behind since she did not soak anything off. I will be reporting then\m to the BBB. read more

The service was extremely rushed. I get no chip with acrylics, and I was out of there in 45 mins. The filing of the nails was not great, the lengths of each nail were not the same on the other hand, and to top it all off, it was $10 more expensive then other places i've been to - for a not so great service. I stopped going here a while ago - I complained to the guy that he was being too rough taking off shellac and his response was "It is fine" and I said "no it's really not, it hurts". All these guys are watching videos and not paying attention. So, recenty I was in a rush leaving on vacation and went in there for a pedicure against my better judgment. $35 for a pedicure, no base coat, one coat polish, no top coat, no time to argue. If I could give minus star, I would. I made an appointment for a pedicure at 4.15 one day in advance, and the dude who picked up the phone said no problem. So, I came in the next day at 4.20, and I was greeted by this super strength odor (from acrylic stuff or their cheap acetone) that made me suffocate. Then I stood in front of the receptionist desk looking confused because nobody greeted or said anything to me. Later, a dude from his manicure table shouted and asked what can I help you with. I said I have appointment at 4.15. Regardless what I said, he asked me to sit and wait for my turn. So, it was pointless to make an appointment because I still had to wait. After waiting around ten minutes, another dude called me and asked me to take a seat on the pedicure chair, but he was still doing other stuff. After keeping me waiting, he started to do the pedicure. The pedicure took less than 20 minutes. The pedicure was not even thorough. He cut and buffed my nails just like that, didn't even shape it. I was supposed to get a scrub and a massage; yet, what I got was scrub put on my feet (not even scrubbed), then he rinses it, took a lotion and massaged my feet less than a minute. When he put the nail polish on, he did not even put two layers for the nail color. Later, I paid using a debit card. I gave the woman over the counter my debit card and she gave me the receipt to sign. She did not return my debit card right away. I thought she wanted me to sign the receipt first, then she would return it. APPARENTLY NOT!! I had so much going on in my mind that I forgot to ask it back. I realized I haven't gotten my card back around 7pm. I called them back and told them that they have my card. The dude who picked up the phone told me that they did not have any card, then he suddenly transferred my call to a woman. She asked the same question like what the dude asked. Then somehow she managed to laugh about this situation. I am seriously pissed!! This was the worst pedicure I ever got. I paid $25 plus tip just to get a crappy pedicure and to get my debit card stolen!! THIS IS WRONG!! read more

I have visited numerous nail salons in greater CU, but this is definitely the place I always come back to. The staff is friendly and they have VERY little turnover. I still see the same people that I saw when beginning to come here a couple of years ago. Michael and Michelle are wonderful and it is clear that they take great care of their staff. Modern nails takes great pride in what they do. They do not use razors for callouses, and I have found that it isn't needed when someone takes their time. The selection ofncolors is excellent and they will special order and pick up out of production colors for you when they go tonpick up their own supplies. Love them! read more

The worst experience I have ever had. I got a classic pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure lasted about five minutes with no massage. They just cut and painted my nails. The gel manicure (see attached photos) was painful. The man who did my nails told me not to paint my nails at home because he could not get the nail polish off. It was normal Essie nail polish. He left it all over my nails (the red spots in the picture) and cut off all of my nails without asking. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and have to scramble to fix them myself. Overall, I paid them nearly $200 for three people and no one left feeling satisfied. Beyond mad and disappointed. read more

I never felt like they were trying to sell me anything also. You can use your credit/debit card and add tip on receipt, also. The salon is clean but again, I've been to better places. They do an incredible job here! My nails always last for weeks and they are always so gentle while they work on them. They have a very friendly staff that actually listens to what you want! They also have a TON of nail color options ranging from regular polish to gel to dip powder. This is the only place in town I really trust to do the best job every single time.
