Then two days later texted if they could come Friday which i agreed. A no show... then very late in the afternoon texted they had a family emergency could they come Saturday. Again I agreed and gave them a time which they said see you Saturday. Now comes Saturday and I get a text past our appointment time if they could come later which I gave them a time they could come around 4pm Around 4 I get a text ...when are you available on Monday as we quit for the day due to rain. I again gave them a time frame when I was available on Monday after 1pm. Well again a no-show and no communications I finally sent them a text to tell them what a joke of a company and that they have no customer service skills on Monday night. Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. This is just a follow-up on my review of Enhanced landscaping. He just called me to tell me to quote " go f**k myself" Such a classless act from a embarrassing company. Like i said...Buyer beware, terrible customer service...do you want to ever deal with a company who would rather throw insults than to solve problems. DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! Seriously, I appreciate your hard work.

I didn't even think it possible to have a better experience than my last experience, but I did. I contacted DLC's through YELP and their response was instantaneous, professional, accommodating and polite. They got my elderly aunt's snow removal scheduled right away, which made it possible for her to get to the doctor. It's not often that you find business owners who are willing go over and above the call of duty time and time again. At DLC's they ensure exemplary customer service. It's so refreshing to know that there are still folks out there who really care. Give them your business and you will be greatly pleased.

After paying $850.00 he left my property with leaves in every flower bed, leaves under every bush on the property and leaves and twigs and branches everywhere! Then tells me this is from my neighbor's leaves blowing onto my property and can take care of it in the spring. My neighbbors hired good people and don't have lots of leaves on their property. Wonder how much he would charge me for a spring clean-up. The only thing this guy knows how to do is charge high prices up front for inferior work. My neighbors lawns look great because they had people that knew what they were doing and mine looks like a piece of crap! Doesn't even deserve 1 Star, but made me leave something. I was out yesterday trying to blow the leaves that were left under my bushes on the property! This guy does not know the first thing about taking care of a large piece of property. Stick with the SMALL jobs, Derek, and you may be alright. Good Luck because you're going to need it. Perhaps you should be in another line of work!!

They cleaned up their job site, were extremely hard working and if there were questions, they asked so that we were all on the same page. Jack was very quick to respond by email and text. Although he got jobs mixed up some times, with telling me a product could only be ordered by a pallet but it wasn't our job. Every time we talked we had to go over what bricks I wanted even though he had it written down. The part that didn't go so well, we were doing a relocation of a drainage pipe to the front from the back. We all agreed to where it needed to go to for the water to runoff properly. Our fault for not having it exactly specified in feet on the quote, lesson learned. Day of, we learn that he stated it can't go that far, they can't dig that much and could only go part way. That is exactly what I didn't want for water to drain to my driveway so in the winter it would ice.

Significant fall-off in Diane's support and communication since that has led to a changed perspective. Dogwood tree was delivered and planted but the appropriate gravel was not installed. Did not return calls to correct. Resumed the effort the following year and was able then to get in the schedule. Later found that the Dogwood installed was the wrong coloring leaves, quite important for ascetics of the home that you are trying to achieve. Promised to trim our junipers as a service recovery effort but never did. Upon further trips to the home, their own employee asked who planted the three vertical maples and when I said it was their company he look surprised and asked why we thought they would be good to plant so closely to the house. Multiple surveyors later, it was consensus that the trees should be removed to avoid future concerns and damage to the home with growing roots. Despite bringing this to Diane's attention and asking for returned calls and support, they never came. For a company that charges what they do and appears to stand by their work, I was left out as an afterthought. Hired outside companies to remove the three trees for the rough costs of $800. You would think for investing in the amount of jobs we had that would be a modest cost to try and make right, apparently not. I blame most of the customer service for the review. The jobs are mostly done well, but better hope is done right, as the returned call for support is apparently not a guarantee. It took a lot of energy to remain patient and professional throughout, yet they did not reciprocate that effort in the end to make it right. This went from a positive experience to a negative experience in the span of 2 years. Open to seeing if things can still be repaired but I am done trying to get their support, they would need to pick up the phone.

After waterproofing didn't help, we contacted Manu at Grow Earth to see if leveling the yard would help with the problem. He came out to survey and gave suggestions and started to plan. Our project was delayed due to city work on our block but the team at Grow Earth was able to come out right before the first snow and get things squared away. They were quick, respectful of our property, and cleaned as they went. Manu kept us informed of the progress and checked in to see if we had questions or concerns. The completed backyard is beautiful work and we have had no water problems since the install. They were reasonably priced, professional and easy to work with. We were treated like family and were given honest advice. We are so pleased with the outcome and highly recommended them for your landscaping needs.

We worked with Manu and Jason at Grow Earth to lay a brick patio and sod our backyard after some…read moreother construction. The whole team was incredible to work with from the very start. They were able to quote very quickly, and since our back yard was unusable (all dirt!) after another construction project, they fit us in quickly so we could get back to enjoying the results. The project hit a few hiccups - namely a massive buried tree stump and the need to lay some drainage after discovering water pooling - but Manu and his team were able to accommodate and adjust to keep things moving. Finally, the end result looks amazing, and we couldn't be happier with it!
