I've been going through new life transitions and I have felt as if I needed some clarity, or some type of security. I started searching around for psychics. Beware. She's a scammer. She said that I had a "generational curse" passed down from my grandfather and made me throw away about 4k of my money during the process. Then, she said that I needed to bring the rest of my money in order to get rid of it and the curse would be gone. Almost went through with it before I caught on eventually. If psychics were real, they would be able to predict lottery winnings for themselves, help in missing person's cases, or predict when natural disasters would happen. I had my experience with Maryanne back in 2018 when I was on leave from being overseas in Japan and I guess finally got the courage to write a review on my experience. This is my honest experience with her and everyone should read this. Yes, Maryanne is a good psychic, but she saw my vulnerability, she saw how depressed, alone, and vulnerable I was to find someone that cared and she used that against me to take over $3000 from me. She made me believe that she was truly there for me, like a mother, like a best friend, but she wasn't. She told me that there was a spell casted on my family for generations and generations and it was up to me to break that spell so that I and everyone in my family can be happy again. It gave me a sense of belonging and hope and she knew it would do that. She even offered to take some of her "charity money" to help pay for the expenses. My time was up to go back to Japan and she promised me that there would be change. When I left to Japan, she NEVER sent me messages, she never asked how I was doing, she never showed any concern or anything, but for some reason, I was still hopeful, because I had no one. She kindly asked for some Japanese gifts for her kids and I GLADLY spent over $300 buying her and her kids tons of gifts (I guess this was my fault) and after that, she would only contact me to make sure I would pay her. I got a reading from a really famous psychic, Susan Grau, and she told me Maryanne was scamming the hell out of me. There is no such thing as spells and that's a VERY common thing for psychics to do, especially when you're vulnerable. I tried reporting her to the BBB, but ended up stopping it all, honestly just because I didn't want to deal with it. So yes, Maryanne may well be a good psychic, she may give good advice, but she saw my vulnerability and used it against me. The other person who rates her "Sharon L" is most likely another individual who got scammed herself and I'm sure there's others. If you're looking for a reading, sure, go to Maryanne, but be aware of the stuff she tells you, trust your gut, and don't let her scam you like she did to me. Or don't get a reading at all. This is a long review but please bear with me if you do not want to be a victim of psychic fraud. I had a reading done in 2015 because I was going through some life changes and was searching for answers. Maryanne was on point with some things in the readings like how my dad is very verbally abusive toward my mom. I had a large family, not everyone gets along, and someone tried to hurt my family. My ethnic background indicates my some people around me has used black magic...which were all true. But little to my knowledge, she used what she knew to her advantage. Maryanne told me she feared for me because someone had put a curse on me and I needed healing. If I did not do something to remove the curse then my future husband will be as verbally abusive to me as my dad. My marriage and future children will suffer. I need to get rid of the curse and she was willing to help for a price. She said she needed to buy candles and it will cost money. She presented an average price customers usually pay for. I don't recall the exact average price but it was very expensive. She said if I didn't want to do it for myself I should do it for my future children. That really got to me, I was scared "the curse" would affect my future children. So I agreed to pay for the candles and prayers for the price of $180. She said it'll take a long time to lift the curse but was willing to be my mentor and continue to help me pray for a price. Her price was $100 a month (in addition to the initial $180), I was hesitant but she brought up my future children again. I agreed that I would pay her to be my mentor and keep praying to lift the curse. After I had paid and left, I did not feel at ease with the decision I had made. I decided to googled "psychic fraud." People on the internet shared their experiences of psychic fraud and the similarities to mine were striking. Stories of people duped into paying a hefty price to remove a curse or spell. Still Not fully convinced, I asked for a second opinion from a well know psychic reader, Kitty. Kitty replied to my email at 3am informing me I'm a victim of psychic fraud. Similar to the people who had been a victim of psychic fraud, Kitty said we shouldn't have to pay people to pray for us. Even if someone needs to buy candles, the candles shouldn't be that much. Kitty told me, I should not go through with the prayer. She also suggested I should cleanse my house with sage. I cleansed my house the very next day and informed Maryanne I wasn't going to go through with the prayer. I gave her the choice the return the money but she declined to return the money stating she had already "ordered the materials." I knew I was really duped at that moment because how can a bunch of candles cost that much?. Another thing that was off about Maryanne was that she preached love spells are selfish but I saw on her poster she offered love spell services. Now you might asking, why I took so long to write a review. To be honest and I'm embarrassed to admit I thought that if I wrote a negative review she would retaliate somehow and if I waited long enough she wouldn't remember who I am. I didn't have the courage to do it then. She is really good at what she does, that's why no one has caught up to her yet. I feel bad for all the people she has "mentor" (duped). I was vulnerable and she preyed on that. There's a lot of ways to make money and cheating people is not the way. I will pray for you. Now I'm not saying you won't get an accurate reading from her or that you will be duped as well, all I'm saying is please be well informed before you get any reading done. Look for signs of psychic fraud, and don't ever let anyone pressure into doing something or make you feel threatened. Thank you for sticking with me and reading my lengthy review.
