The installation of the new plumbing required the removal of some of the existing plumbing. Rather than placing a bucket or catch pan beneath the sections being cut out, they simply allowed the water to drain onto the plastic membrane in my encapsulated crawlspace. When I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work after they had left, I was greeted by puddles of standing water. There was clearly no attempt to catch the water as the pipes were cut, nor any effort to vacuum it up afterward with a shop vac, as I ultimately had to do myself. Another disappointment was finding that the cut-out sections of plumbing had simply been discarded in the crawlspace rather than removed from the work area. It gave the impression that they assumed most homeowners would never enter the crawlspace to see the mess left behind. Although I'm not a plumber, I'm at a loss as to why two additional 90-degree turns were added to the cold-water PEX line when the adjacent hot-water line was installed without them. While it's only two extra elbows, they appear unnecessary. In my opinion, two additional crimped PEX connections create two additional potential leak points. Details matter. A little more attention to workmanship and cleanup would have gone a long way.

I was having…read moretrouble with my well water tank, the water coming through my pipes to house was light brown and the pipe running to my reservoir tank was leaking. I was told by a plumber that is not license to work on wells to tell me that my tank bladder could be busted, being that he wasn't licensed to work on water well issues recommend walls well service. Up on this company's arrival, ( the son of the owner) to me that it was more than likely that the tank reservoir had a buster bladder. So he put in a new tank and wired the tank, when he rewired the tank and with no success with the new tank working, he then said it was probably the water pump had gone bad. ( keep in mind that pump was working fine prior to walls arriving) so I asked what would this cost, he said he wasn't sure because he didn't do the billing. So @ this point he said he would have to pull the pump to check the wiring and to see if it was a bad pump. He then stated that they charge 100.00 for service call and 100.00 per hour. So they pull the pump and said it was bad, ( even though it was working fine prior to their arrival) He stated that they would have to replace all the pvc pipe running from the pump or they would not warranty/Guarantee their work. After replacing with a new water tank and new pump and new pvc water pipe, it still did not work. I was outside watching and listening and keep the bees away because they were afraid of black bees, the conversation between the two employees was that he had wired the tank up wrong. That being said! I was billed 1700.00 for the first invoice, Then Week later I received a second invoice for 800.00 that they forgot to bill in the first invoice, up on viewing the two invoices. They charge me for a new tank, pump, 600 Ft of pvc pipe and countless of other items that I wasn't sure if it was items they used or not. They did charge 100.00 service call and what they said was 6hrs of work @ 100.00 per hour. I also got charged 130.00 for them using their host on their service truck, also got charged for items such as 3 roll of electric black tape and three fuses , they kept shooting the fuses because it was wired wrong too start with. I contacted the owner and his response was , at least everything is new now! What started out as a water reservoir replacement turned into a 2700.00 mistake on the sons/employee fault. It seems as if it was deliberately done too make more money. If you decide to use this unprofessional company, just make sure you get a quote. Not sure if this is a true honest company.

Be careful! I hired these guys to reposition a main drain line in my house because it was pitched…read morein the wrong direction. They were also going to relocate a couple of water supply lines. They started on the drain line, I looked at it and it looked level, no slope toward the main drain line. I brought this to their attention and was told it was an "optical illusion", though my level proved otherwise. They then corrected it with additional straps. I explained exactly where I wanted the supply lines rerouted, they were no where close. A couple days later i looked at the supply lines and noticed one was leaking, I took a picture and sent to River Plumbing and didn't even get a call to offer to come fix it! These guys will not be on my property again!

(I want to say this first in case you don't read the entire review- I asked to speak to Mike Sanchez's boss. His boss is Chris Sanchez and they are brothers. This is why Mike can do as he pleases and speak to you worse than you speak to your dog.) I've asked for Chris to return my call but I'm not hopeful. Update- Chris called me back with the GM in the room. The GM was level headed but the owner, Chris, was equally as bad as his brother. I was only asking what the bill consists of and these people lose their minds at that question. I reordered this call as well and wish Google would allow me to post it. It's so absurd that it's almost comical. These folks have zero experience in working with the public is a normal and positive way. I've worked with them for 10 years and they were always my first call. Never missed a bill being paid in full within days of them sending it out. The company has changed ownership and they brought in an older gentleman named Mike Sanchez to run the place, or at least be the person to discuss your bill if you have questions. A super nice receptionist answered and told me my bill amount since it's been 1.5'ish weeks since Blalock was at my home in Mooresville. We have always loved Blalock and they give me the cost when they get here because they would take time to look at the problem and tell me the amount to prepare to spend. This is the pricing model that every other company works by. Service calls include diagnostics, then you are billed for a job. This is across plumbing, electric, hvac, etc. This is across middle TN. Mike Sanchez was screaming in the first 2 minutes of the call when I asked him to explain the bill to me. It took me many requests for him to pull the bill. He stated the following: 1. I'm not talking to you because your being a prick 2. You've never paid any bill on time in your life and only called us to rip us off (I have a 826 credit score) 3. We will take you to court and put you a lien on your house 4. No other companies ever give up front pricing and you should have know how we bill. 5. It's as if me asking if we can talk about my bill was a mental health trigger for him. 6. I offered to call an ambulance for him several times because I truly believe he was having a mental crisis episode. I called an ambulance to come check on him because I was afraid of his safety. He had to be on the verge of having a stroke as much as he yelled and told me how he doesn't need customers like me or my family. We've been super loyal for 10 years. Sadly, I'll never call them again. 7. I will pay for the completed jobs out of my $2100 and change bill, but no one pays for a job that isn't completed, especially when I was never made aware of their new pricing structure. 8. As Pamela Pope said in her review, he told me we don't need customers like you or your family. I recorded our call after he started to flip out. If we go to court, it sounds like the Google reviews and my recording may assist as a character witness for this gentleman. I truly hope he gets the help he needs. It appears I'm not the only victim of his wrath. Long review, but please know this isn't the great company it once was. Mike is running away more customers than he is retaining. At this rate, unfortunately they will be out of business in two years, unless they fire Mike Sanchez.
