Karen was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Karen walked us through our options, explained the pros, cons and most likely outcomes with the foundations of the case we had brought. The fees and finances were transparent, fair and honest. Karen even set us up with a couple recommendations to pursue treatment for our injuries. After our visit the weight of the accident was literally lifted off our shoulders. All we had to do was worry about getting better. I couldn't have imagined a better outcome and to think we were thinking there was going to be numerous visits with lawyers. Karen kept us up to date every step of the way via email. We never questioned what was going on. Karen received a couple offers from the insurance company and asked us if she could decline them. This impressed us. She seemed to fight really hard for us. Our settlement was much more than we anticipated after researching 'like' cases. Update- To our surprise, in the middle of writing this review we received an email from Karen. However,…read moreonce it came time to write the document they just wrote a bunch of stuff that was not talked about which could have been entirely prevented if they'd reviewed the initial documents I'd sent or had a simple intake form. Instead there was lots of expensive rewrites. For example they contested the agreed upon sale price when I'd already sent the appraisal and of course was charged for this whole back and forth. I also felt like they were not forthcoming with steps of the process and forced me to keep checking with them at a minimum of $30 a pop. Them asking if I got the money and me saying yes cost $60. In total it cost at least 3X what was initially quoted. They also had an error where they without notice or invoice automatically charged me for their services plus $5,000 of fees that were to be split with another party. I really liked my first meeting but feel they are not very organized which ultimately filled their coffers.
