First, when we got the draft back for our wills, the legal names were not matching across documents. Seems like a basic check for the paralegals. To Harkiran's credit, she asked for our feedback and we gave her that. It's nice when they do ask for feedback. Fast forward to the e-signing day. We had to have our documents amended and rescheduled and again, very grateful that they could accommodate for that. But we never received the final documents until I had to email them. I ended up receiving these documents from the notary (since they didn't respond until half hour before the actual signing). Again, probably not Harkiran's fault, but this is another indication that her team is not functioning well. I'd give the law firm 1 star because it's hard to trust a law firm that can't get the simple things right. The 2nd star is purely because Harkiran is a very nice person.

For context, I'm the first buyer into this HOA after Dimension Law helped to establish it only 10 months ago. Katy, after sandbagging us for weeks, refusing to honor our mandatory HOA Transfer Meeting, finally met with all of the new buyers to transfer it to us. From the beginning of the threads with the attorneys, I have flagged inaccuracies on descriptions of our property (vastly incorrect bedroom / bathroom count), but instead of correcting them, I've been getting pressured into accepting an amendment proposed by the seller, and will only get my descriptions updated should I accept a preposterous amendment which would take away our parking by redrawing the property map. I continue to refuse the amendment, but now it's unclear if we'll be receiving an accurate unit description. I've inquired about even paying for the amendment ourselves but haven't gotten any straight answer. Emails go unanswered, questions remain, problems persist.

Answer a few standard questions, chat about your impending death, and whammo! You've got yourself a legally binding will, power of attorney, health care advance directive, etc. Betsy also told us everything about death we wouldn't have even known to ask. Plus, she and her husband even come to *your* house for a signing party so you get the documents right away. It wasn't cheap, but check to see if your company has a legal plan (ours paid for almost everything!). But it was thorough, painless, and quick. Just like I hope that impending death of mine will be.
