But their range of clothing is great and not super pricey, the staff nice. It's obviously aimed at a slightly younger market (ie: under 50) than some of the other boutiques in Leura. But beauty earns its own respect. The lady even flashed me a smile as I inched my way into the far room, growing bolder by the moment, but she didn't get off the phone, which was a blessing. The dress styles available are fairly typical of the current clubbing scene (obviously depending on where you choose on heading out), but this place easily caters for the fresh-faced eighteen year old - where you'll get your figure-hugging dresses that dip a little lower than the panty line. It's the kind of place that appears to copy a lot of the current trends but will only charge you a fraction of the price. With that said, you can expect to pay within the price range of $20-$60. Of course with spending this amount you can expect the use of lower quality materials and craftsmanship. But what's a few spare threads here and there when it's become the norm to wear a dress only once for an occasion?

The best thing about stores like Blue Jade is the price of course - and at this one in particular, they had a sale on where everything was $10. Bargain, I hear? Well of course, there's a trade off where you get less quality materials and craftsmanship (you could compare the quality to a store like Target with similar price tags because they test their materials to the brink of extinction). But that's being picky - I only mention it because you sometimes see uneven seams or puckered stitches. The style of clothing tries to mimic current trends for summer that will come and go, so you can find a good piece that works for the coming months and is good on your wallet too.

Very poor customer service. My partner picked up a top clearly marked 29.95. When at the counter…read morescanned at 59.95. The manager refused to honor it stating she pay the full price or she would remove it from stock. She then accused other customers of removing tags and placing on othe garments. While waiting for resolution another customer had multiple items with the same issue and was told the same thing. The staff refused to help even giggling and make comments under their breath think we could not hear them. Customer support is no existant so staff feel they can get away with this behaviour. Will follow up with ACCC and chase down someone in ZARA Australia.

Thinking I'd be in for a bargain, I snuck in a quick look at what clothes they had on sale. Unfortunately, none of the things there were particularly to my taste - or clothes that I thought I could find cheaper at an arcade store. Then again, the shop caters to a late twenties or thirties market so it's a little out of my age bracket. What I mean by this is they weren't clothes that I'd wear to go clubbing or anything. It's quite a small boutique, right on one of the roads leading to the train station, so I'd expect plenty of commuters walking by. Maybe they'll have better luck than me finding something they like.
