I woke up on Jun 3, 2020 to find water all around my kitchen island. I then noticed the walls were…read morepulling from the woodwork. What the $%&*. The first call I made was to my insurance company USAA. They had no contacts listed for any restoration services in Kingman, so it was up to me to find one. I found Restoration1 listed on the internet, but they were based out of Lake Havasu City, AZ. I called them and had a representative on site within two hours. He surveyed the situation, call for assistance, and started working. Within a few hours, my once beautiful island was dismantled looking like a soggy moldy mess. They completely removed all the sheetrock, cabinets, sinks, granite tops and the leaking dishwasher. Completely sealed the area from floor to ceiling and turned on the blowers/dryers for the next three days. When they returned, they setup a temp kitchen sink, which was a huge help getting us back to "almost normal". They worked with the insurance company and keep them informed of everything taking place. (My USAA claims agent told me how pleased he was working with such a company and would put them at the top of the list for Mohave County restoration services.) It did take a couple of months to complete the project, however that was due to the workload of the cabinet maker. Once they installed the cabinets, the Restoration 1 crew came back and finished the job and it now looks just like before. I am extremely pleased with the workmanship they did and how they interacted with my family and the insurance company. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. PS: They now have a complete crew stationed in Kingman.
