We attended three race times and sat in the general admission section. We respected the family section bleachers which ask you to kindly not drink any alcohol. Love that. The announcer is still so passionate about what he does and his sense of humor adds an added dose of pleasure to it all. Plenty of affordable food and drink choices for kids and adults, decent bathroom facilities and everything is easily accessible. Thanks again for the positive experience and memories.

Do people not know of this place?…read more Sure its off the beaten path but isn't everything in Lake Havasu? Really cheap tickets when they hold shows here, I wish I could remember the name of the main event they throw here. Also the pyrotechnics show is set up here always fun to go see that! It's crazy how this place is in the same area as Laughlin. Laughlin has turned into a depressing wasteland where the majority of the people look like walking/talking Marlboro lights, except that no one there smokes cigarettes that good anymore. Bullhead used to be looked down upon compared to Laughlin. That's no longer the case. Scooter's was packed with families and kids and people having fun together. No one was sad or drunk or shriveled from casino air. It was such a delightful change from across the river. I don't plan on many trips to Bullhead but I'd go back to Scooter's in a heartbeat.

When in Vegas, one must go to the track and drive exotic cars. This was my third visit to the…read morelocation south of the strip. There is one north of the strip, but I prefer this one. The 1.3 mile track features 10 turns, a 2000ft straight, and F1-spec safety barriers. Car rentals start at $249 for 5 laps and go up to $549 for a Ferrari 488 Pista or Porsche GT2. Multiple car packages and additional laps are available. I booked 10 laps in a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS and 7 laps in a Porsche 991 GT3RS. On prior visits, I drove a Porsche Cayman GT4, a Ferrari 488 GTB and a Porsche 992 GT3. My favorite car has been the Cayman GT4, probably because it's closest to my own 718 Boxster GTS 4.0. It was a sunny, 100+ degree day and my reservation was at 9am. For some reason I was dog slow on this day ... I couldn't get in sync with the car or the track. Turn 3 continued to be my nemesis ... mess up this turn and you're out of position for the esses that follow. I couldn't even find a rhythm for turn 10, my favorite. As a result, my time was 5+ seconds slower than on my prior visit. Switching to the 991 GT3RS improved my times by 3sec, but still way off the pace. In contrast, the 'hot shoe' of the day lapped the track 12sec faster. What did I spend? $1,281.60 on car rental, lap videos, and tips. Was it worth it? A resounding YES. As Arnold said, "I'll be back."
