So since the time that my Dad passed, if I can't fix the problem myself I take it to Bob's. He does excellent work but I must admit the prices are little above the chain type places you can visit. He recently installed new brakes and rotors on my van. Actually it was 9 months ago. I know, "BAD'" Yelper. Anyway, I brought it to him in the morning and it was ready after lunch. The price was $250 of which seemed a bit high but I didn't shop around as I know the work he does is quality work. They not only provided estimates for the muffler and oil leak but also gave me a list of other items that might need attention. I appreciated that when I told them I only wanted to take care of the two main issues, there was no pressure to do additional work. This was my first time here based upon a recommendation from a co-worker. The two local mechanic…read moreshops I previously used went out of business due to both deciding to retire so I needed somewhere new to go. I called and asked about getting my vehicle in to have two new tires put on. I already had the tires but just needed them mounted and balanced. The gentleman I spoke to told me to bring it right in and they could have it done by the end of the day. I asked if there was anyway possible way to have it done by 11:30 AM due to needing the vehicle for work purposes and he stated they should be able to accommodate me. Not only did they have it done by the time I requested, it was done by approx. 10:30 AM. Considering I called and then dropped it at 9 AM and they had it done an hour before the time I requested, I'd say this is fantastic customer service from start to finish. The gentleman I dealt with was friendly and courteous as well. Great experience and I think I may have found my new local shop to take my vehicles to.
