The measurements on the ovens were unusual so I needed to take extra care to make sure they would fit. I shopped around with the usual suspects and Sears, Costco, and the Brick. I was really having a tough time getting someone to answer a few simple questions. I had almost forgotten about Bodley's--and they are only three miles away! I called Bodley's to ask some questions. I outlined what I needed. Cheri gave me really good guidance on the appliances and the fit. She directed me to a few different websites where I could look at the models, and then she took my questions and went to the manufacturer. She even went to the extra step to guide me on picking a different, less expensive dishwasher, that in her opinion was a better value--and a much better match on the outside. At this point I expected to pay quite a bit more than I would have paid at Sears or the Brick. What's so cool is that I didn't. The pricing that Cheri quoted was as good as I could get elsewhere. What's more, delivery to my house was free. We did the entire transaction over the phone and email. Today the delivery team showed up right on time. They shoveled the snow of the stairs so their hand truck wouldn't carry any snow into the house. The took steps to protect the floors and offered to carry everything away. What a great experience. They are a local family-owned company. They have been in business for as long as I can remember. I couldn't ask for anything more. They have earned my business and my loyalty for any future appliance or furniture purchases.

So we bought a $1000 dishwasher to handle the heavy dishwashing requirements we have with a family of 5, purchased the extended warranty (another $100) after being reassured that the risk of a failure would be mitigated and have "no worries" this important piece of our kitchen facilities at home. 13 months into the life of the dishwasher it failed we have spent over 50 hours hand washing dishes, 4th week with out a working dishwasher, 4th technician's visit, and had the technician just leave (as I had predicted would happen to McDonald's service manager) scratching his head saying" there is only one more part to change on this machine and if that doesn't work, I don't know what to do". I had previously contacted the McDonald's service team and cc'd McDonald's owners last week to ask for a new dishwasher. Their response was they have no control over the service as it is all OUTSOURCED and have now become non-responsive following my last email requesting proper customer service and support. So be warned, this company no longer has any control over their level of customer service for the appliances they sell and are not willing to stand-up and take responsibility for the products they sell with misguided button popping pride and tradition. If I could give zero stars I would!…read more Nobody likes to be taken advantage of, and I feel scammed by the Brick! Could anybody advise me who to contact regarding a refund on a insurance purchased through the Brick ? I bought a sofa bed and at the time of purchase it was clearly stated that if I did not use the insurance over the course of the three-year term, I would be refunded for $114.99. There were no other conditions explained. I returned to the Brick and now I'm told that I have to spend at least $400 in order to have that amount deducted. I spoke to Tara in the customer experience team and she just sent me back to the manager . Nobody will stand by what the other salesman had told me. Had he been upfront with me I would not have purchased that insurance. The only reason why I did so was that I knew I would be refunded after 3 years. If $114.99 affects the Brick's bottom line so much that they need to scam a senior for it...I have news for them. In today's economy,$114.99 means more to me. They have lost my business!

When I called Home Style Furniture they put me on hold, called the delivery guys and told the delivery guys to drive off with the furniture sitting on my lawn. They never picked back up the line and left me on hold for over 2 hours. I would never recommend anyone to buy from this company because theyre liars and cheats. They promise you things to get the sale and don't honor their word.
