This cozy little studio feels like a hidden gem in Palo Alto. I got a tattoo during one of their flash days and knew right then and there, "These are the people I'm trusting with my skin!" Julia was like a tattoo perfectionist (in the best way). She measured, adjusted, and probably consulted a geometry textbook to make sure the placement on both my legs was perfectly symmetrical. She even suggested color options that made the tattoo stand out. The whole time, she checked in to make sure I wasn't suffering in silence--though, honestly, I might have been too distracted by how cool the design was coming out. I'm absolutely in love with the results, and I'm still touched by how much care the artists take. They make sure you leave not just with an incredible tattoo but with a PhD-level understanding of how to care for it (and yourself) afterward. Julia and Olena, you've set the bar so high that I can't even think about going anywhere else. Thank you so much--see you next time!

As my first tattoo, I was really nervous about committing to a specific artist. But I looked at their work instagram and on their website and I loved their style. I emailed them and got a response within a day and they were very patient with going back and forth with me about the design. I paid $100 for deposit before they started making a draft for the design. Originally my appointment was late October but rescheduled for mid November. I got there at 1:02 because I got lost in the plaza. The shop is so cozy. It helped with my nerves and they also offered drinks such as coffee or water. Olena had me sit and presented me the sketch that she combined. I was a bit picky with the placement but she helped me pick a spot and I'm glad I went with it. My session ended at 3:50 and we started 1:30. I cried when I got home cause now my Mando will forever be with me. Thank you Olena. read more

Clean! Comfortable Setting. Both artists are extremely nice and welcoming. I came to them with one of my most meaningful pieces on my brother's 1st heavenly birthday and I could not have been more happy with the result! Olena has a gentle hand, I literally felt no pain! And I have 15 other tattoos where only 1 other I can say the same. Happy to be going back in today infact for another meaningful piece! Happy to have a place nearby i can trust! read more

A very bad/ worst experience with this Mol'far Tattoo. I booked an appointment after paying $100 for session ( Tattoo) . But I have an emergency at the same day of an appointment so I request to Mol'far please reschedule my appointment because my mother is in hospital so she gives me an appointment for November 4, 2024. Unfortunately that's day also I very hardly get over the time of my appointment so I'm just gonna late for an hour from my appointment time. When I go over there (Palo Alto) the Mol'far onwer very rudely attended me and refuses me to get a session. I requested very politely please don't do that I will be very sorry for late and also pay for extra to you for your wasting time but she totally disregard and refused again. So I will leave the appointment and never get service from them. She also refused to return my $100 without any service I have taken by themselves. read more

I got my first tattoo here about a month ago. The entire process, from meeting Julia and discussing my design, to getting the tattoo, even through healing, was about as ideal as I could have asked for! I've had an idea of what I wanted for probably 25 years but hadn't managed to make it a reality until now. I gave her a melody I'd written and the extremely vague description of what it was trying to convey, and she came up with this gorgeous design, both unlike anything I would have come up with, and also absolutely perfect! Since it was my first tattoo, I was a little nervous about everything, but she cleaned and sanitized everything so well as I watched, and was so kind about figuring out placement and making sure I'd like the result, and setting me up to feel as comfortable and calm as possible. She told me a little about the different types of tattoo needles she was using for lines vs shading, etc. I was thrilled with it as soon as it was done, and have grown to love it even more in the last month as it's healed and settled. She sent me home with detailed care instructions and was kind enough to respond to a few questions I had while healing. I can't wait to see her for my next tattoo! We followed proper aftercare, but the line work on both pieces healed inconsistently, with shaky lines and areas that appear blown out. One of the designs also came out uneven and not as clean or symmetrical as expected. The fact that this happened with two separate artists on the same day is what concerns us most. It didn't feel like a one-off issue, but more of a reflection of the overall quality during that event. We chose not to return for a touch-up because we didn't feel confident having the same artists rework them. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision, especially when considering flash events.

Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. Once you go to Delane's and get treated with that kind of value and respect, you won't want to go back to anywhere else. And honestly, you shouldn't have to. Ask for Brandi.

Please read!…read more I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. I came into this salon for the first time with long, healthy natural nails that had gel builder on them. I left with my nails completely ruined. Julie aggressively cut my nails down extremely short without listening to what I wanted. She cut them so short that my skin was exposed, and several of my fingers actually started bleeding. I was shocked. In all my years of getting my nails done, I have never had a nail technician cut my nails to the point of making me bleed. What made the situation even worse was that after my fingers were already bleeding, Julie continued to file my nails. She then proceeded to put acetone on all of my fingers, including the areas where my skin had been cut open. The burning and pain were unbearable. Instead of stopping the service, checking on me, or asking if I was okay, she kept going as if nothing had happened. To make matters worse, she then attempted to put some type of glue or ointment directly onto my bleeding finger without explaining what it was or asking for my consent first. I had to stop her myself. I was honestly in disbelief that this was happening. My fingertips are now extremely sensitive to touch, throbbing, and painful. Simple things like washing my hands, typing, buttoning my clothes, or accidentally bumping my fingers hurt. I walked in with beautiful, long, healthy natural nails that I had spent a long time growing out, and I walked out with bloody, uneven, painful nails that look nothing like what I came in with. I brought my concerns to the manager, Alicia, hoping she would take the situation seriously and offer a meaningful resolution. Unfortunately, she wasn't very helpful. I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for. There was very little empathy or accountability for the fact that a customer left injured after what should have been a routine nail appointment. I will be attaching before-and-after photos so others can judge for themselves. The pictures clearly show the healthy nails I came in with compared to the damaged nails I left with. I would absolutely not recommend this salon based on my experience. No customer should leave a nail appointment bleeding, in pain, and regretting their decision to come here. If this is the level of care being provided, other clients deserve to be warned before trusting this salon with their natural nails. I genuinely believe Julie needs additional training and closer supervision before working on clients independently again. A basic nail service should never result in exposed skin, bleeding fingers, acetone being applied to open wounds, and a technician attempting to place an unknown product on an actively bleeding finger without first obtaining the client's permission.
