If you need solid legal advice....Forget this firm of Lawyers.
I have had cause to contest a will written by Molesworths Bright Clegg. They are the Executors of the Will. As Executors, they are under a legal obligation to remain 'neutral'. They have thus far refused to answer my lawyers requests for information regarding their will file and the estate in question. Instead, they asked their own firms' 'Litigation' team (Paul Dixon - Partner) to respond. He did so by sending us a wholly arrogant and combative letter. The letter, far from remaining neutral is obstructive and non progressive towards any kind of settlement. This is a very unhelpful stance and as yet, in spite of us asking on numerous occasions, they have not given us their legal basis for their lack of information, non-neutral stance and utter failure to act in their own best interest as Executors or the best interests of the purported beneficiaries of the estate. Poor at best, bordering on incompetent as Executors. What a rubbish law firm they are, particularly Paul Dixon who ought to be ashamed of both himself and his Wills and Estates Team.
I'd be happy to explain further if anyone wishes to contact me.
