We were lucky to get into this very busy restaurant on a holiday weekend. Most people ahead of us in line wanted to sit outside. Guess we were lucky. We sat for a long time waiting for service. Finally got menus and then finally ordered. I must say the restaurant probably seats about 300 people among seating areas both inside and outside. We ordered pizza with salami picante and a salad. Both arrived and they looked great. They were great. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the ration of sauce to cheese to meat was great. The salad was to die for! Fennel, endive, and orange slices tossed in a honey balsamic vinaigrette and garnished with roasted sliced almonds and fresh shavings of Parmesan cheese. The also place a dish of hot oil in the table. It was a beauty. They served small pieces of bread that were very tasty especially when dipped in the hot chili oil. The slowness of the food arriving(we were there almost two hours) is the only reason for the rating of 4. Loved the hustle and bustle of the place and loved watching so many pizzas being thrown into the oven and then plopped on plates and almost run out to diners. Highly recommend. This a nice Italian restaurant in the downtown area in Geneva. The venue is massive, they have huge outdoor and two indoor levels too. We tried the Marg pizza along with their Lasagna. We were looking for dinner after 10pm and we were pleased that they were able to seat us. We had Pizza Rossa which is pizza with tomato sauce. We added burrata on top. They gave us a spicy marinated olive oil to drizzle on top and it was delicious. We also shared a Mista (mixed) Salad and it was fresh and delicious. Our server Brian was professional and kind. Sorry...for a pizza place their pizza left much to be desired. Tomato sauce seriously tasted like it came from a jar at Migros and the four pieces of prosciutto barely covered a 16th of the pizza. The decor of the place is nice but the constant "ce n'est pas ma table" from each waiter (except apparently mine) is enough to drive you to try your luck at another place. Great location. Very busy at 10pm on a Thursday night. I'm always surprised at how late we eat in Europe. Server was nice but it took forever to take our orders. A little understaffed I think. The food was good. Not great just good. We started with salads and a bottle of Brunello Réserve that was above average. I had fish. It was good. Lorie had pasta with meat sauce. She said it was good. The pizza looked good. To end the meal Lorie had tiramisu and the girls had gelato. They all said it was good. I hope you receive my 3 star review through my writing. I said good a bunch and that's exactly it. Nothing eventful. Not much to write about. It was just good. Therefor the very average 3 star review. Great location. Had dinner there on a Saturday evening, making a reservation thru their website. Easy to do, and we nailed a great outdoor table. Three of us ordered three different pizzas, and nobody was disappointed. The pizza was really good. One of the best I have had in the nearly 5 years since I left New York. To me, that says something! Our server was polite and fluent in English, as most in Switzerland are, and was happy to make the menu modifications we requested. Just be aware that nearly all outdoor tables at restaurants permit smoking. The food was pretty good. The kids meal came with ice cream and chocolate. My daughter ordered the spaghetti, it was a little chewy, but my husband LOVED it. My son got the ravioli, the pieces were huge! I ordered the salmon risotto. The risotto tasted as if it was made with chicken broth. Overall, the dish was just ok. My husband ordered a Margarita pizza, and it was great! So I have to give it a 4 stars, I would give it a 4 1/2 if I could. When I go to Geneva, my friends invite me often in Molino, Pizzeria Ristorante. Molino is a chain in Switzerland, but attention, nothing to do with food chains from across the Atlantic ! I do know that the establishment of Geneva and is a beautiful restaurant to look brewery luxury, with a beautiful and large crystal chandelier. The fast and efficient servers! And then, it's really good: for example, green lasagna or pizza four cheeses, yum! Ah yes, for pizza, a small is already an average, then an average ... For the desert, take their famous Tiramisu! We hit up Molino's in Old Town Geneva on a Monday night. It was one of the only places open late (think they're open until midnight). Places was popping. Many patrons. We ordered a pizza to share and it was really good. The waiter also split in in two plates which was a pleasant surprize. We got the mushroom pizza (funghi). It was about 24 Swiss francs - but enough for two of us to share. They have free Wifi and a good wine list. I got a beer for about 5 francs. Waiter was friendly. They accept CC's. Also we left a purse there. We called about an hour later. They were nice enough to put it in a safe and hold it securely. We picked it up the next day. Definitely worth the visit. read more

Such a great place to eat lunch during Summer time and take advantage of seating in the Molard Place with some italian food. I tried Molino a couple of times but the ones located in Montreux. Atmosphere 5/5: If it's sunny, I would advise you to go and eat lunch there. This is the perfect spot and it is central right next to Globus. Food 4/5: Food was a average plus. I had some roast beefs (again) with some baked potatoes and a salad. It was good and they have some nice pizzas as well! Service 4/5: Great service, really helpful and friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere, with flickering taper candles on every table and music at the right volume. Service is generally attentive although the servers often disappeared for long stretches of time. It took me 15min to flag down the waiter for my check after he had cleared my last dishes... I knew I had to ask for the check, but I didn't realize he'd make it so hard for me to do so! The special pumpkin soup was delicious, but came out with a rubber band in it which I discovered by pulling it out of my mouth. My server was mortified and brought me another, in which the crostini were so tough I almost couldn't chew them, but I didn't want to send it back again. The pizza was not amazing, but decent Napoli-style. Nice variety of toppings though there could maybe be a little more imagination. The cappuccino was weirdly bubbly and lukewarm, as if it came out of one of those "latte * cappuccino * hot chocolate" machines rather than being brewed/steamed by hand. The tiramisu was gooey and tasty but tasted like it came from a box. They were kind of big on the automatic upsell, too. When offered water, they gave me pricy bottled rather than offering free tap water. When I didn't specify the pizza size, they brought me the biggest (most expensive) without asking. Altogether it was a good enough dinner. But for the price, I should have been more impressed with the quality than I was. However, they still get three stars for being ok food, for putting my dessert/coffee on the house, and for being a warm, ambient place for me to eat and read on a cold, rainy night. read more

My only complaint is that the restaurant is huge and you don't have a relaxed feeling unless going on a Sunday which is calmer. The restaurant is in the financial and shopping area of Geneva, so as Sunday everything is closed, this area is calmer. If it's sunny, you have an excellent terrace outside! Service is very good and they are always running as the restaurant is huge for Geneva standards. Don't come here when it is busy, especially on a Sunday. The service is horrible. Once seated, we never got a waiter, even though we kept asking. After 25 minutes, the manager finally took our order. Another 25 minutes went by and we didn't get anything we ordered, including our drinks. You would think they could at least bring by our drinks. We left after that. This place is expensive compare to other Italian places in Geneva, probably because of the location. We did not get any food, but some of it didn't look good. Molino is pretty touristy, which is why it was open on a Sunday when I was passing through. And it's in the Place Molard, which is a pretty touristy spot. No big surprise, just about all the diners were tourists, including me! But the food is good, especially if you stick to the basics. I had a pizza Kookai, on which I asked for bolet mushrooms to be added. It was very good. They say that all the best pizza cooks in Italy come to Geneva to earn higher wages. One of these must be working at Molino as it was a very good pie. Service was acceptable, other than the waiter who shoved an English language at me just because I was speaking English to my lunch partner. I found that overly presumptuous! But the food is good. We stopped by for a quick Italian meal in what looked like a nice casual restaurant. The decor is quite pleasant but that is the best that can be said. The food was very ordinary and bland. The pappardelle Alfredo had a watery sauce and was almost tasteless. The spaghetti with pesto was very oily and salty. The service was poor- it took 3 requests to get a bottle of water. Although all of us understood people have bad days, this might not have been the case. The waiter was not friendly and even created a dish (ordered for a person) when she did not know exactly what to get. Again -- I understand the language barrier. As I was searching for a good Italian place to eat some lunch, I stumbled upon this place and thought that I would give it a try, so I went in asking for to-go, and rather than being nicely directed to a waiter that could take my order one of the waiters told me go and ask another employee working behind the bar about what I would like to order for to-go. Thus, I proceeded to the bar and asked the employee if I could order to-go at which he point angrily sent me off to sit at the bar and wait to take my order. 10 minutes later I was finally able to place my order, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and aside from the harsh treatment from the staff the food was okay. read more
