Luckily even though it was crowded, we were able to be seated on the pub side (through the doors to the left when you come in) really quickly.
Service was friendly and efficient and the food was great. I had the special breaded chicken with cheddar bacon sauce, mash and veg; and the hubs had a smash burger and chips. I am going to recommend getting the burger sauce on the side though because it was SWIMMING in it. Or if you are into that sort of thing, you do you - the sauce was great, packed with dill and a great complement to the (not quite American style) smash burger. Just ask for extra napkins.
