Terrible! We hired Molly Maid of St. Petersburg for several months, hoping for reliable recurring service. Unfortunately, the quality steadily declined despite multiple conversations with management about areas repeatedly being missed. The final cleaning was unacceptable. The crew was in our home for only about 1 hour and 15 minutes, yet they left kitchen counters covered in coffee stains and bread crumbs, the carpets were not vacuumed, and the house had not been dusted. We took photographs documenting everything they missed. When we contacted management, we requested a refund and asked to cancel our service. Instead of taking responsibility for the poor quality of the cleaning, they refused to refund the $189 we were charged and insisted on sending the same cleaners back. By that point, we had already hired another housekeeper because we had lost confidence in their ability to provide the service we were paying for. The biggest issue is the apparent lack of quality control. The cleaners seem to have little accountability, and there appears to be no meaningful supervision or inspection of their work. After multiple complaints over several months, nothing improved. Paying nearly $189 for a cleaning that left obvious dirt, crumbs, coffee stains, unvacuumed carpets, garbage overflowing, dirty sliding glass door, and undusted surfaces is unacceptable. This is, without question, the worst cleaning service I have ever experienced. I cannot recommend this company. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. read more

Unreliable! Hired them for a move out clean and they did half the work, made false claims stating the home had "pests" and they would send me photo proof. They sent nothing to me and upon going back to the house found nothing. You can't rely on them to do a thorough job in a timely manner so I will never be using their services again. read more

Contacted MM for a deep/spring clean. I was very clear I needed a deep clean when booking this appointment and also reiterated this when the girls showed up. They spent about two hours cleaning my home. They didn't move anything, just surfaced cleaned and dusted around things. Never moved the toaster oven or coffee pot to clean under/around. Didn't move anything, just dusted around them. They also didn't dust off all of the blinds or even wipe down butcher block counter tops. Instead of vacuuming off and mopping stairs, she used a dirty used dusting cloth to wipe them down the on way out and told me to be careful??? Left a hazy residue that immediately left footprints when we walked on them. They were obviously in a hurry. This was supposed to be a treat for myself but was a total waste of time and money. I have been using this service for over a year now, and I am very happy I found them. Since I moved here permanently, I went from having a cleaning done once in a while to a plan where Molly Maid comes twice per month. They are professional and honest, and do an amazing job keeping my home clean. They are Fabulous, and I want to give a special shout-out to the duo that cleans my home--Kate and Nev!!! They started out ok. Had a very expensive first cleaning that supposedly they would maintain. This was a brand Newhouse mind you. They couldn't keep the good cleaners. The pay structure encourages the staff to go as fast as they can to do more houses a day. They constantly wanted me to change my day to accommodate others and when I said no one time, they got snotty with me. Basically this is a wiping service. They wipe around quickly. The new person I have now found they had never cleaned under the couch. After several weeks of asking the girls to get an area they weren't doing and the snotty office that was it for me. Little did I know the quality was way worse then I thought. Luckily I have a great woman now who by herself does an amazing job. read more

First and last time using Molly Maids. Hired them to clean our townhouse before we moved in. We pulled out the fridge because previous owners had food spill behind it. They swept, but didn't scrub the grime. Drawers in kitchen not cleaned, as requested. No bleach used, so master bath still had mildew. Horrible experience. read more

They will hook you with a great first deep clean, then change the quality of the work done. The clean moves to just hitting the highlights, and you have to specifically ask for things to be done. If the job is to clean the house, then clean it! The WORST part is they that are so totally unreliable, they canceled last minute on multiple occasions, even right before a holiday when we had company coming. They do not maintain a consistent schedule, constantly moving your time around, if they show up at all. The girls are sweet, and allowed time to clean would be good, but it's all about in and out with this company and no reliability. I've been with MM for 3 years. The cleaners themselves are good when they arrive. However the scheduling department is TERRIBLE. They say they cannot guarantee any timeframe they provide after the first AM slot so that means you could wait all day for a clean unless you give them keys to your house- which they've tried to tell me is the only way most people use their service. However the maids change out almost weekly and if you ever need a time change- they will screw up your schedule for a full month and then refuse to change the time or guarantee any future arrival If your work hours change. why would you give your keys to be used by new strange people each time? This company never used to be like this And I'm stuck at their mercy. read more

Finally decided to "try" a licensed cleaning service after months of "independents." In short, there is no question at all; with Molly Maid, the Value is Greater than the Price. Slightly more than I was paying the independents, yet, two and three professionals clean my place quickly and efficiently and cheerfully. Amazingly, they call ahead and show up on time. This St. Pete office must truly be like a "family" because the staff all seem to exude that same energy and devotion to their work. From the initial interview to the first now second cleaning, I am completely sold...and entered into an arrangement for cleaning every two weeks. I'm so spoiled by how the place sparkles when they're done! Did I add, these gals also have personality...and are respectful with items like picture frames, and anything left on a dresser or desk. Honestly, couldn't be more pleased. The team leader for my account is a dynamic gal name Jamie...who was joined on her initial visit by Amy! Today, Jamie brought equally efficient and energetic and competent...Becca and Bree. Gone is the awkwardness of trying a new person...Jamie clued her team on what to expect; areas of extra care, and the tempo of the visit. Seriously, I am a complete fan...of this team, and of this service. Again I repeat...the "value is greater than the price." This was the worst service I have ever used and on top of that, they would not honor their guarantee...they specifically advertise they will come and clean what ever your not satisfied with... They charged me a large sum of money for very little service. I would NEVER use these people again and suggest you do not as well. read more
