We decided to stop by without a reservation, so the hostess had us sit in the open lounge area which turned out to be a relaxing spot even as the restaurant started to fill up. It translated into an astounding $56 in US dollars, about half the price of the entire meal. But what the hell...welcome to Norway as it provided a refreshing start to our meal with no regrets. The food came at a reasonable pace beginning with the 59 NOK ($6) Spanish Olives (photo: https://bit.ly/3BKpYBa) and the 49 NOK ($5) Bread & Aioli (photo: https://bit.ly/3Qb2mtY) - both sidling us into a savory Spanish state of mind with ease. It was also a given that we'd get the 92 NOK ($9.40) Patatas Bravas because who doesn't like fried potatoes, especially when they're tossed with fish and egg and drizzled with a spicy aioli? The food was yummy and the service was courteous and efficient. There's a vast array of pizza choices, kebabs, burgers, and chicken. They have a menu in English if you need that. I sampled two different pizzas, both delicious, the kebab, and the skewered chicken with garlic sauce. The chicken was heavenly. This isn't gourmet food with white tablecloths and snappy waitstaff.
