Luckily we saw the sign for Art Residence and decided to give it a try. It's down a long corridor so slightly tricky to find but I'm glad we did. The two ladies working were very good and got our food and drinks to us (6) quickly. I had the carrot cake and while it wasn't the best that I've had, it was still good. It was moist and had a nice amount of nuts in it. The frosting was a bit sweet, but it was a light layer so it wasn't cloying. There's room for no more than about 15 inside, but they also have seating outside. With the temps in the 20s (Fahrenheit) the inside was at capacity. Holešovice has definitely changed since the 90s and is transforming into Prague's art district. This district give the perfect alternative to Prague's picture perfect tourist attractions and Paralelni Polis is a part of it. The place accepts only Bitcoins, but you can get it in the Bitcoin ATM and there is always someone to help you and explain. Great place!

It's a perfect place to start your city tour, too! You can just walk straight down the hill to the old town and on your way you will automatically see all the important sightseeings of Prague. I heard several locals say they hated the building since it doesn't mesh with the city's architecture. I worked out of it for a little bit and overall enjoyed it. There's several shops available, including an Albert, as well as a mini food court, where you could buy salads, Mexican, or Asian quick eats. In the open greenery area, there's also access to a really nice and welcoming Starbucks outpost. It's no Palladium, but I think that's a good thing. The Florentinum is an effective multipurpose space and conveniently close to the Florenc bus and metro stops.
