Gym is 24/7. Clean, lots of options as far as dumbbells, cardio, and weight machines. This last visit we were there my husband decided last minute he wanted to go with me on Thanksgiving day and do a workout. They got back to me on the holiday 15 mins after I left a message! So impressed with their customer service and will continue to use them every time I'm in town!

We brought our own towels because it's a $1 rental and we had some in our car (a summer staple!). Best part was no sunscreen! Coming from Arizona and staying at Purgatory for the week to enjoy cooler weather, the no sunscreen part is pretty exciting. My kids rave about this place (now 11 and 13 years old). The rock wall is no joke, either! Unlimited access during open hours (special hours for rock wall, but generally closed after 4pm). Kayaks in the pool at 6pm on Wednesdays for a $5 rental? What is the Colorado? Super cool way to learn!

Very clean, very well organized, all the equipment is high quality. When somethings broke, he fixes it. When things are getting worn out he replaces it. The people there are all really nice and there's a genuine community feeling whether you're 75 and staying active or 25 and working on major lifting goals. Go to another gym in Durango and you'll see the opposite. I genuinely cannot say enough good about Don and the gym he runs.

But I highly recommend common scene and respect Don Gym because it takes a lot of stress and power to run your own business Anyways if your in from out of town the prices are great and the gym is awesome you got everything you need and more. It's always tough on my (addicted) crossfit routine when I travel, but not when I visit Durango! First, the gym is attractive, with a large garage door that opens on a nice day to allow a fully unobstructed view of the mountains. They also have a beautiful, energetic, colorful mural across the wall. Most important, their trainers are awesome - very welcoming to drop ins and gave great coaching points. Even though I've been doing CrossFit several years, it is great to get the input to keep improving form. The locals are also super friendly and gave many suggestions for activities around this terrific area. I look forward to my next visit to Durango and Crossfit Durango.

Pretty disappointed in Anytime Fitness in Durango. I enrolled in a two month membership while I was…read morein town this summer. Unfortunately do to travel I was only able to visit the club twice. So, no really big deal I spent $178 on my membership but simply wanted my $50 key fob deposit back. I mailed it from Arizona, called them a couple of weeks later and they said they never received the Fob and refused to refund my deposit. Oh well, it's only $50 but what a poor experience dealing with the owner of this location. I didn't push him on it as they easily could have lost it or maybe they didn't receive it but what a disappointment based on not being able to even use the club in the first place. There are many better options available than Anytime Fitness! My bad!

For this, I'm filled with gratitude every time I have to rest my cheek on the ground. As for the actual coaching, I have nothing to compare it to... but being a lifelong self-conscious weakling when it comes to fitness, every single one of the coaches over the past 6 months have been nothing but supportive of my own personal journey. I usually have to modify the WOD to survive, as I watch all the other crazy older retired buff women kick my butt. And it's ok.
