Good climbing place where gives you great climbing opportunities! ;) There are two sections one without rope and another with safety ropes! You can climb high and low! Great challenging for your strength and beyond! Instructor Bri was very good as well! Come and climb!

Really awesome climbing gym! The top roping wall is amazing and so tall. There's definitely a lot to do here! I personally prefer bouldering. I was a little worried because based on their website, the bouldering area seemed very small, but it's actually pretty substantial! There's plenty of routes for all levels, and I had a pretty fun session here. I usually go to the Silver Street location, but they were closed, so I ended up at Katy and I'm so glad I went! Also, if you have a membership at Silver Street, you can also use it at Katy. That was awesome to know! Now I'll probably split my time climbing between the two gyms because I really liked this location.

The facility is super clean. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. I'm scared of heights and have climbed multiple times without fear and had a fun experience. There are a variety of difficultly levels, areas and activities for most ages. I've even seen kids scale past me like little professionals. Totally recommend

I've always wanted to go bouldering/rock climbing and I finally was able to go! It was so much fun. I'm coming back for sure. Makes me want to buy my own equipment and take up a new hobby! This place is really clean and very kid friendly. I would def recommend it! They have all sorts of different levels and ways to rock climb. They also have an area with auto belay so that you don't need a partner to climb with. I also really like that there's so many different routes and each with certain difficulties (it's really fun to go with friends and challenge each other). Rates: Adult day pass: $20 Child day pass (11 and under): $14 Harness rental: $4 Climbing shoe rental: $6 Belay device: $2 Combo rental (harness, shoes, belay): $9 The day pass includes full access to all climbing areas, the fitness gym and the showers! How awesome is that?

First of all, let me just say...I was in rock climbing heaven. The entire gym is very aesthetically appealing to the eyes. It's so colorful, bright, HUGE, and gives you that overall feeling of happiness. Only a climber would know. Or any fitness person. They even had their own weight room for your lifting needs! Though this place may be far, it was worth the drive all the way to Katy. There's another Momentum gym close to me in the Heights, but that one is only a bouldering gym. This Katy location, has top rope, a weight room, kids climbing area, bouldering....literally a climbers heaven. They even have an REI Co-Op! Also there's a Groupon online, but to be honest, you're only save $1, and to me, it's not really a deal if you're an experienced climber. The deal is for a bouldering class in which most people are not experienced. Now, if it was a class for belay and harness and shoes rental, then it would be a great deal. FYI. Compared to Texas Rock Gym, this gym blows it out the water. Sorry TRG. I love you, but Momentum made me fangirl real hard. Like any other rock gym, they provide a harness and shoes with rental fees. For belaying, you'll need clips, so you just have to give up your ID in exchange. Of course you'll get it back. They do that because some people tend to leave without returning them. A regular day pass is around $20. But that is an all day pass, so if you decide to leave to get food and then come back, you're still able to climb. Adult Day Pass* $20 Child Day Pass* $14 Yoga Day Pass $10 For Yoga only Harness Rental $4 Shoe Rental $6 Belay Rental $2 Collateral needed for rental Rental Combo: Harness, Shoes, & Belay Device $9 You're welcome ^^^^^^^^^^ Just a tip, compared to TRG their ropes are a bit different. Their top ropes don't require an 8 knot, where as if you belay at Momentum, you have to know how to tie an 8 knot to climb. It's how you can be secured while climbing, and how it should be TBH. Don't want no body to diieeeeee. Bring water. I repeat. Bring water. The customer service was fantastic. They are so gentle with kids, amazing at explaining things to newcomers, and are very patient. Speaking of kids, I have never seen so many kids so happy to climb!! Man some of them are better than me! I spent about an hour at the REI Co-Op store to the point where I was late meeting my friends for dinner. But to be honest, it was WORTH IT. And fekking huge shoutout to Alexandra for being so patient with me!!! I am now a proud owner of my very own climbing gear: harness and shoes. Found the perfect harness to fit my fat thighs. And shoes to fit my big, jagged feet. Ya know? That morton's toe ain't pretty lookin. Stuff takes time to find. Ya feel? I have been climbing for years, but the amount of rentals I have spent my money on, has equated to the amount I could have spent on my own climbing gear. Plus spending money on day passes. Also being an REI member saved me sooooooo much money. I can see myself coming back for sure.

If health, fitness and fun are goals in your off time, this is the place to be. The rock climbing gym has a lot of fun for kids and adult. When you walk in, one of the first things you notice to the far left are the gigantic climbing walls. They seem intimidating enough, until you take the belay instruction and have climbing partner with you (that you would trust!). This gym provides harnesses and rock climbing shoes. There is also a shop inside that has those items and much more for sale. REI members get a discount. There are also areas in which you can sit if you're not participating. Momentum requires that everyone who walks in to sign a release form. You can fill one out online before going to this gym to speed up your check in. The people who work here are friendly, easy going and are knowledgeable about everything to do with rock climbing. The atmosphere is pretty positive too. There's not only the huge, giant wall, there is also a race climbing wall. There is a timer at the top. When you reach it, hit the buzzer to stop the timer on your side. It's amazing just to watch the climbers who do this. There is also a free climb area that doesn't require a harness but you will still need your shoes. A lot of older kids and teenagers frequent this area. Tucked within the main area towards the back is a climbing room for the little ones. Like really little ones. It's low climbing free structures and soft padded floor are ideal for small kids. This place also has a regular gym. You can workout before climbing or just come here to work out anyways. We went as a group to Momentum. This is a solid place to have a family outing, day date, workout or just to have fun.

New favorite gym! I just wish I'd found it sooner. The gym is always kept clean and the staff is always chipper and helpful. I love that when I get stuck on a problem, a passerby (staff or other climbers) usually offer tricks and tips that I may not have thought of myself. Although top rope has been my favorite, I like that they also offer auto belay walls along with boulders so you can go solo or with partners. The variety makes it easier to bring more people (fewer excuses accepted lol). I don't take advantage of their weight/training area and yoga as much as I should. But they do seem to have a little bit of everything including trainers!

The wife and I took our sons (5 & 8) to Momentum for a birthday afternoon activity. The kids absolutely loved it as well us parents (we all climbed). We had a blast and we want to thank Marika for all her help. The gym has walls for all ages and there were different challenges for all age groups. We'll definitely be back and just want to thank the professional and courteous staff. See you all again soon!!

We had our daughters 11th birthday party here and it was AMAZING!!!! Monica and Canton(I'm probably spelling that wrong) were the most awesome hosts... they took care of everything! I just set back and greeted parents! The kids had so much fun and got to do everything. This was by far the best experience for me as a parent throwing a birthday party for my kids! I definitely recommend momentum for your kids birthday parties. On a different note...... This place is an awesome indoor rock climbing place. There's stuff for all levels and all ages! It's a great place to get in some physical activity for the family and it's a lot of fun! The staff are super friendly and helpful. My family and I are looking forward to many more visits.

This is my first time doing it and may I say it's so fun, I'm pretty athletic so I wanted to try out something new. I got on Groupon and it was a deal for 14$ so I took it. Without the discount I think it's 30 something per person including the harness as well. The staff here are very nice and welcoming. Anyone who hasn't indoor climb you guys should try it.

I booked a massage through ClassPass as a Mother's Day gift for my mom. I called ahead and informed…read morethe staff that the booking was for her -- at no point was I told this would be an issue. When we arrived, the owner and staff were condescending, rude, and showed zero empathy, turning what was meant to be a special occasion into an embarrassing and upsetting experience. I've visited before for yoga classes, but the attitude toward ClassPass customers here is consistently dismissive -- from being made to fill out a new form before every single class despite being a returning customer, to the way this situation was handled. No one should be made to feel unwelcome when they're simply trying to do something kind for someone they love. What could have been a simple, understanding conversation was instead handled with zero grace. Do better.

She talked to me after class and told me I should be an a beginners class and told me she doesn't go around correcting/helping others because that's not how she "teaches". I came in proud of myself for trying something new, and left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable for putting myself out there. It's a shame because the few other times I went here, the people and instructors have been lovely and encouraging.

I originally posted this review for the business Eileen used to work at, but I'm moving it here…read moresince Pilates and Motion is her new HQ: I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but Eileen, the acupuncturist, is so deserving of recognition I feel compelled to in this case. I seriously don't know what I ever did without her. I've been seeing her for weekly 30-minute acupuncture sessions for about 6 months now. I was initially just kind of curious (but not overly optimistic) about acupuncture and its ability to alleviate my severe PMS symptoms and make my cycles shorter and more regular. When I first came to Eileen, I was also dealing with chronic fatigue, feeling cold all the time, unexplained infertility and a moderately high level of stress and general anxiety. My husband and I still haven't conceived, but Eileen's treatments have had a very observable affect on my cycles (the first time I saw her, I had just had a 36 day cycle. Each month after I started treatments, my cycles got progressively shorter, until reaching a nice, predictable 26-day pattern.) My periods are much less painful, my energy is higher, and my hands and feet aren't icy cold all the time anymore. Eileen has a very calming presence about her, and is very easy to talk to. She is extremely intuitive and compassionate and sincerely cares about helping me in any way that she can. She talks to me about how I've been feeling before each appointment, and customizes each treatment accordingly. Yesterday my stress level was quite high when I got there, and I had some anxiety that prevented me from being able to stay asleep the night before, so she focused on the best points to relieve stress and I walked out of there a new person. I was in a zen-like state for the rest of the day after my appointment, and I'm still feeling very calm. I've also come in after nursing a headache for 36 hours, and left without any pain whatsoever 45 minutes later. I just can't say enough good things about Eileen or how grateful I am to have found her!

I paid almost 1K for private sessions and my last 2 classes the owner had other sessions with…read moreclients going on in the same room with another client while the instructor was teaching me. It was really hard to hear, focus and stay motivated. I generally NEVER complain but when you are paying a higher price for a service then that is what is to be delivered. Today I came about 10mins early the owner asked me what I was doing there (my hair is usually in a bun) naturally curly but today it was straight..assuming she did not recognize me I stated I was there for a private session with her instructor that started in 10-15 mins she told me to go wait in my car. I find it odd and its growing uncomfortable each session. The owner then went upstairs to meet with her client. If I would have randomly walked in after she went upstairs I still would have been in the waiting area... like I did the week before without having to go to my car. Pointing out she stated this in front of her loyal clients and gave me the boot when I simply was sitting on a chair smiling at her clients. I'm a lot different looking than her other looking high class clients being tanned skin tone and I would hate to feel like I'm being treated differently when my pockets and class aren't any different. You never know someone's status by looking at them. When speaking to the owner she kept insisting on more fees to accommodate services paid for as if I did not have the money to pay for my services. She then suggested a $500 an hour fee to rent out her whole studio to be funny. Usually a private session is a 1:1 session with the trainer, instructor or what have you. She stated that is not how her studio runs and it can be quite a few others in the same session. If this is the case she should have disclosed when paying that sessions were more in a group like vicinity and I would of happily paid for classes elsewhere or paid more than half the price to join a franchise. The other clients she was with was laughing hysterically and impulsively during my session that the instructor had to keep raising her voice so I can hear her on the reformer machine. The owner was absolutely contradicting and passive when I took it upon myself to speak about my experience professionally. Never asked for any money back just wanted to see if she suggested quieter times. She challenged me to looking into renting out the studio..if I wanted to I would. However, I inquired about private sessions just as you would do with a private chef, private instructor, private massage therapist, private Villa on vacation, or personal trainer. All of which I have done and it was "private" just myself and the Coach/trainer/instructor etc. This was supposed to be a wholesome, holistic experience and despite race, age, or sex everyone should be held to that standard. Maybe the owner should disclose that it may be semi private sessions when you pay for private 1:1 sessions and others will be in the room in a small space with you. Also please note that she does offer "semi-private" sessions for a lot less but it has to be with someone you refer. Now, that I'm thinking of it it seems like a scam scheme and she is still in fact having clients pay the price for "private" seasons when in fact are not private. Honestly cannot wait to do my last 7-8 sessions and book elsewhere. Helga one of the instructors is absolutely amazing. She is why I'm sticking through this or would have cared less about 1k going down the drain. I know she drives to this particular studio for her clients from other places she attends to for her livelihood.
