Established in 2010.

Momentum was established in 2010 by partners Jimi Plouffe and Adam Sgammotta. Both grew up around family-run small businesses, so they understood how hard owners work — and how often they are left to figure out websites, marketing, and technology on their own. They started Momentum to help close that gap. The goal was to help small and mid-sized businesses build stronger websites, get found online, and turn visibility into real business growth. What began as a web design and internet marketing company has grown into a full-service agency serving businesses across Michigan and beyond. Momentum’s work centers on strategy, WordPress websites, SEO, paid search, hosting, support, and honest reporting. The team has completed hundreds of projects for manufacturers, contractors, service firms, nonprofits, and local businesses. Today, Momentum is based in Shelby Township, MI and helps owners attract leads, increase sales, and grow with a digital marketing partner they can count on.

Meet the Business Owner: Jimi P.

I started Momentum in 2010 with my business partner, Adam Sgammotta, after years of building websites and working with local businesses. I grew up around family-run small businesses, so I understood how much owners carry — sales, service, operations, customers, and then the website and marketing too. That is what inspired Momentum. We wanted to give small and mid-sized businesses a reliable partner for web design, WordPress development, SEO, PPC, hosting, and support without making the process confusing or out of reach. Today, my role is to help business owners clarify their goals, understand what is working, and use their website and marketing to create real growth. Based in Shelby Township, Momentum works with companies across Michigan and beyond that want to get found online, attract better leads, increase sales, and build a stronger path forward.
