07.03.26 - oak street health is the absolultely worst medical practice that i have ever been a…read morepatient of, bar none! oak street may have a neighborhood name and glitzy commercials but it is actually cvs. a big corporation that surely is interested getting its most vulnerable patients on more prescriptions..... those patients looking for jesus-in-a-pill. i am conscientious about my health. i eat well, exercise, manage stress, and take supplements to avoid toxic prescription drugs. i must not meet oak street health peoria's desired demographic because i feel ignored, embellished in low level professionalism, and a phone technology that they can't seem to manage well. i've been waiting to speak with a specialist by phone and have yet for that appointment to happen after months of vigorously trying. i hate this place and will leave this practice in due time but not until being quite vocal and filing every complaint that i can. oak street health peoria really sucks! this is no lie. if you care about your whole health and being, avoid oak street health peoria. this place is the worst practice ever! after contacting oak street for months about a referral that never resulted in an actual appointment i have spent over 1 hour on the phone on hold. i've had it with these unprofessional prescription-drug-thirsty folks! it is a horrible practice! 06.26.26 oak street health (cvs) peoria location started out fine , kinda like the commercials on tv. but shortly thereafter dealing with oak street has been a frustrating stressful joke. they are like a dog chasing his tail, rarely resolving requests when contacting their many remote phone reps who take notes (and not accurately) and who are so far removed from the clinic that calls to them is useless. i would love to give oak street a better rating, but i'd be lying. oak street health peoria is a clusterfck of a mess. i am not happy and will ultimately go elsewhere. i'm not alone. review the 1 -2 star complaining of many others.

I read that this place has unethical billing and it is the truth. Just the hospital building charge…read morewas higher than my actual doctor care! And they were higher than the average care for my procedure in this area by more than $200 by the medical blue book. Charged as a new patient even though the doctor had done a prior surgery a few years back. Don't use this place. There are competent facilities in the area that are by far more competent in billing.

Someone there went above and beyond this week so I wanted to give a Yelp in return…read more I went in over the weekend looking for "weed killer" to clean up the walkway along the house, as I'd seen a lot of outdoor stuff there before and didn't want to drive all the way to Lowe's. He said they didn't carry it but suggested a safer home remedy that he had used at his own home with Dawn and vinegar, set me up with the Dawn and told me what consistencies to mix and how often to treat based on his experience. He didn't try to make a big sale or send me away quickly because they didn't have what I needed and aren't that kind of store, just genuinely wanted to help. I really appreciated the advice (it totally worked by the way!!!) and wanted to applaud your store for the excellent customer service that seems to be so hard to come by these days. Thank you!

Got the text from CVS to pick up Rx. Gave birthdate to Canesha and she entered into computer. "No…read moreprescription" she said. I said wife got the text it was ready, could you look in the box for it? No response. Asked again, and she said there is none there. I asked her to physically walk the 3 steps to the box and look. She went the other way six steps, entered on another computer and she said no message was sent. I said my wife got a message from this CVS that her Rx was ready and I came out or my way to pick it up, and asked her to please look in the box of ready prescriptions. She stood still. I went down to the counter in front of the box and stood there and asked the pharmacist to look in the box for me. He assured me I could not look, and he entered in the computer, stood there. I ask him (my final time) to please look, and he did and no prescription. Now, if only Canesha had looked, the customer would have been happy. Customers count! The message wife received is still there.
