Then walk to the back of the mini shopping complex and it's on your left. It's open until 6pm everyday and closed on Mondays. The longer version: I phoned three different alteration places listed in Chinatown initially. One was closed, another's phone number was out of service, and this one. When I phoned, the phone was answered with 'Hello', but it was the right number for the business so don't be put off if this also happens to you. I checked that they were still in the same location and the time they were open until (6pm) and walked on down. The bars were closed when I got there (5:30pm) but the girl (who appeared to be the daughter who answered the phone) took my pants, my name and my phone number. I explained what I wanted done and she said that her mother would phone the next day to let me know how long it would take and the price. I was initially quoted 4 - 6 days and $8 - $13 for the hem. Turns out since I only wanted one leg resewn rather than hemmed it was $3 and 24 hours. Plus I tied this in with a takeaway dinner from Han's Kitchen nearby, and now have my work pants ready for the cooler days.

I have never had a poor fitting for alteration from her. However once in a while, if I get one of the other ladies, they forget to put the tags back on my garment. I checked the yulp reviews and had mixed thoughts (clue #1). My friend has some extremely nice cloths, and she should know a good tailor. I tried my jacket on when I picked it up in the completely disorganized work space (Clue #2). I was rushed to pay for it (Clue #3). On the big night, upon getting ready for an awards ceremony in Vancouver I noticed that the inside of my sleeves didn't look right. Upon further investigation I found that the liner had not been sewn up after the internal alterations had been done, not just on one sleeve, but BOTH!!! I immediately when to the mirror and upon doing my own quality control, I found that my Sleeve wasn't attached to the vest part of the jacket for about 4". I could put my hand completely through an area that should been sewn up. See photo I uploaded. I can't believe that I paid for a butcher to alter my suit jacket. Do not use this company! They have no quality in their work, well except for taking your money, that part of the deal worked flawlessly. I won't even let them fix it.

I had a mermaid style dress and had to order it big enough for my hips then bring it in 3--4 inches up top. She took the time to make it perfect, true to its original style and perfected every part of the dress. She is extremely busy because of her skills. So give yourself time when bringing in your dress and always call in before to make sure she is ready for you.
