Finally this store jumped from DC area and I am so happy. Anyone looking for really higher grade organic and natural food, this is the store for you. Also gluten and allergen free food. Great selection and reasonable price. A great for me is also their staffs, they are so good and helpful.

Bulk laundry refill station.

So happy to have Mom's Organic here in Westchester the store is big and has free covered parking right out front and the aisles are HUGE so you're definitely not going to be on top of people while you shop. They have a huge selection of specialty vegan options and so much bulk! There's no where anywhere around Westchester that offers bulk food like Mom's where you can bring your own containers and skip the plastic. They had everything from bulk nuts, grains, granola, flours, spices, teas and herbs/products to make personal care products with oh and cleaning product/laundry refill stations! The produce section is small but they have all the staples and everything looked super fresh. Definitely one of the best natural food stores in the area and the vitamin/natural care selection was also great. I'll definitely be including Mom's in the places I regularly grocery shop at.

Large selection of Herbs and spices to get by the weight.

I love, love this place, super clean, free parking, lots of products to select. They have a large selections of herbs and spices you can purchase by weight, great when you just need a small amount. Nice selection on vitamins supplements, oils, hair product you name they have it. If not, ask them and they can most likely get for you. The staff is super friendly and always ready to assist you.

Cool paper bags

Wow!! Who needs Whole Foods? OK so I may never give up Whole Foods, but this is where I'll be shopping. Specialty organic and sprouted nut butters, tons of organic grains and nuts by the pound, 100% organic produce, even crickets in any form you can imagine. I'm in love! Even the bathroom's gorgeous!

A great alternative to Amazon's Whole Foods for vegetarians and vegans. A wide variety of bulk items and supplements. Highly recommended!

(Just after Shake Shack, Look for the Verizon store on the front corner of the building) Plenty of parking in the rear. When you enter this beautiful store, fresh organic produce in abundance are presented. Prices are on par or even better than Whole Foods. I love their self serve bins of bulk ingredients especially the nooch! Iykyk! The cold refrigerator offers an abundance of healthy options, love their plant based vegan products such as yogurts, milks and cheeses. Found my favorite jackfruit brand of frozen ingredients. Lots of vitamins offered for healthy living. Freshly grounded nut butters. Gluten free options aplenty. Healthier snack options like chips, ice cream, nuts and lots of chocolates. We've been going weekly and I can confidently say The staff are always amazing! So helpful and insightful. They offer a coupon book which can easily be used in store. Complimentary hot coffee is offered for shoppers making for an enjoyable shopping experience. Definitely worth the extra effort off route 17 south to explore this local gem of a market!

We went to visit an older woman this past afternoon and chatted over tea and fruits. During our…read morechat, she highly recommended MOM'S Organic Market and we went not too long after to check it out. We must have passed it a few times when we are on route 17. It's a little hard to miss, however you can see it once you've entered the shopping center. Family owned and operated since 1987. Think of Whole Foods, much less busy, not a whole lot of rushing (which is a good thing) and you take your time to browse around the smaller store. The quiet and calm was cool, for a Thursday evening, not too shabby. We came across a lot of products we haven't seen before. Great options from a vast majority of gluten free to bring your own containers for pasta to help reduce waste. Plenty of signs to look at and read what we can do to be proactive with our bodies, lifestyle and the environment. I loved knowing this was a smaller scale. We accidentally forgot our reusable bags, however bought a new MOM'S insulated bag. Until next time, we will be back!

I am however, a chocolate fiend. So when I noticed The Pod by Cocoa Compassion on Cedar St in Dobbs Ferry not far from where hubs and I had our antique+vintage shop, I had to visit. The Pod by Cocoa Compassion's owner- Joy is 100% in support of working closely with family-run cacao farmers in The Caribbean, some Central American countries and Africa and sourcing the best quality chocolate bars and powders to these neck of the woods and beyond. What's more, the owner donates a portion of her profits to charitable organizations in NYC. With her chocolate, the owner bakes her own delicious 'Compassion Chocolate Cookies' that are filled with scrumptious dark chocolate chunks, other pastries and her hot chocolate- which is to-die for. When you come to The Pod, you're actually home: sit on the sofa lounge a bit if you want and strike up a conversation with the owner- who's a hoot and damn well knows her cacao. I learned a thing or two maybe three because of her. The shelves are stocked with dark chocolate bars and powders for purchase and specialty gift items as well. By the way, Joy rents(?) the small space up front for pop-up events+vendors selling their handmade jewelry, silk scarves, etc.- just double-check if this is something she's still doing. If you're looking for somewhere to have a tasty hot chocolate, want to indulge in a one of her cookies or come in for the positive vibes, The Pod is a must.
