This is the restaurant at Colab. They do a nice job and the food was tasty and good quality. There was a large group having a party nearby. I could see they provided the food which also looked like they did a nice job. My only comment is my salad had a little too much dressing and I usually like a lot. I might request light dressing next time.

Boneless Wings a bit too heavily breaded for my taste.

The only food option in Colab Public House. Our party of 6 had mixed reviews. The gluten free pepperoni pizza crust was very good, soft & thick which is hard to find although small pepperonis that were sparse. The Caesar salad is large & would've been delicious but it was drenched with salad dressing so order it on the side. Boneless chicken wings with honey sauce were decent but very heavily breaded & lots of crunch which weren't really my taste. The ranch dip was really good though.

Fish Triangles and fries (fries are good)

Service and ambiance are as expe at this CoLab location. I come to CoLab every Wednesday for trivia with my girls. I'm not a pizza lover, but have enjoyed their fish and chips many times, until now. Groton's frozen crunchy batter red fish triangles are NOT WORTH $20 BUCKS!!! They ought to be embarrassed big time. How DARE they pass this off as a fish & chips dinner. I have a bags of these fish portions at home for when I want quick fish tacos... but id never believe I'd be able to pass this off as a real meal. VERY disappointed in this place, pass it up if you have the chance! 8/28/25 Rob Z. Thanks for your reply... and I do need to clarify! I've had the fish & chips at this location numerous times, and it is USUALLY as you describe. In fact I've enjoyed it and touted that to others (except for the night your guy used way too much chili powder in the Tartar sauce... chili powder in Tartar sauce? Who'd imagine). My issue is with last night. See my picture! Maybe your crew ran out of good fish and decided this would make a good substitute? NOT!!

    Over there.

Pet friendly, TV's everywhere, lots of different tables, couches, stools to choose from, huge beer menu, (it sits in the middle of a brewery), and an upstairs area that overlooks all the beautiful people who frequent this spot. Ok food. Service is ok. Beer maidens are kick ass!

Was blown away by the pizza. I am picky but the crust was great as was the pesto arugula topping and the food was ready relatively quickly.

The seafood was especially fresh and perfectly cooked -- from the tender shrimp and lobster to the flavorful clams and pasta dishes. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were delicate and delicious, and the sauces were rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. The lobster bisque, however, was a little salty for my taste. The atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and welcoming, making it perfect for a relaxing dinner or special occasion. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and every plate looked like it came straight out of a gourmet magazine. Highly recommend trying the seafood specials and homemade pasta. You can really taste the quality and passion in every bite. The restaurant is often filled up fast for dinner, it is best to reserve in advance.

The decor is definitely old-school, with an aged charm that tells you this place has been around for a while. Even so, the furniture is well-maintained, and the entire dining area looks clean and cared for. The service matches the traditional vibe. The servers are mature, efficient, and no-nonsense -- the kind who still bus their own tables and focus on getting you what you need without the fluff. It's refreshing and perfectly suits the atmosphere. The food, though, is the real standout. I first discovered their pizza when my brother-in-law brought one to a party, and I couldn't believe how good it was -- easily one of the best I've had in a long time. On my recent visit, I decided to try a sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. The bread was soft and fresh, the meats flavorful and well-balanced, with everything working together without overwhelming the taste buds. Overall, Mama n Papa's offers an excellent meal and a warm, nostalgic experience. If you appreciate great food in a traditional Italian setting, give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

I started off with a glass of Pinot Grigio. We ordered the garlic cheese toast for starters. It made its way to us pretty quickly and was delicious! For my entree, I ordered the 2 item combo with lasagna and ravioli with marinara sauce. She ordered the rigatoni with meat sauce. All very good. The inside reminds me of an old style pizzeria. There are booths and tables available.

There's a parking garage that's basically a five minute walk away and validate your parking for the first two hours for free so that is cool! We had reservations, and were quickly accommodated upon arrival. The host was extremely friendly and the environment had a feel good energy vibe. It was a beautiful day to eat on the patio. Everyone was having a great time except for one crying baby lol. But that happens! The food was absolutely delicious, but let me start with that lemon drop martini. Wow! Super delicious. I could've probably drank a dozen of them. The focaccia was cooked perfectly. I thought the Montanara we're going to be like little pizza dough bites that you dip in sauce, but they're actually three giant pizza bites with different sauces and toppings! Very surprising to see, but pleasantly surprised. They were delicious! A nice crispy crust on the outside and a soft fluffy inside. But the star of the show for me, was the pappardelle with the Buona Forchetta (V) SAUCE!!!! Cream, egg yolk, parmigano, spicy marinara, black pepper... and I added crumbled Italian sausage for the win. The vibes were on point, the food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, everything was a win. I would definitely recommend this Italian place to just about anybody. I'm hoping all the other locations are just as good!

Great atmosphere as well. Honestly you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu! I recently tried their gluten free focaccia bread and I have not stopped thinking about it because it was so good. My other favorite sauces in the past have been their carbonara, buona forchetta, and aglio olio e peperoncino. Also their lunch menu is delicious too!

Our waitstaff was headed by Kap & he did an excellent job. Told us to check out the happy hour menu since it was almost over, so we could get appetizers in at a reduced price. Ordered the calamari (crunchy, yet tender), bruschetta caprese (piled high with mozzarella & basil & chopped tomato), Caesar salad (crisp greens with a garlicky Caesar dressing), meatballs (2 large in a marinara sauce - so tender). They also have sliced warm bread on the table with olive oil/balsamic or butter. The drinks were perfect - nice and chilled and crafted perfectly. Kap also made a great recommendation on a bottle of wine. The menu has changed though. Some of our favorites have disappeared... (seafood risotto), so tried other dishes. Carbonara is so rich & creamy. The pizza margharita was cooked perfectly with a nice crust, but was a little lackluster in taste (not enough cheese maybe?). I did order a side of pesto to add some flavor. The lobster ravioli is always great here, so 2 people ordered it. Added chicken to the vodka penne (grandson's plate was completely emptied). Also had a fettuccini Montanara. Everyone but the grandson had leftovers to take home, so servings more than adequate. Kap really made the dinner perfect. Attentive without being over-bearing & making great recommendations throughout. Will definitely be back.
