This is the restaurant at Colab. They do a nice job and the food was tasty and good quality. There was a large group having a party nearby. I could see they provided the food which also looked like they did a nice job. My only comment is my salad had a little too much dressing and I usually like a lot. I might request light dressing next time.

Boneless Wings a bit too heavily breaded for my taste.

The only food option in Colab Public House. Our party of 6 had mixed reviews. The gluten free pepperoni pizza crust was very good, soft & thick which is hard to find although small pepperonis that were sparse. The Caesar salad is large & would've been delicious but it was drenched with salad dressing so order it on the side. Boneless chicken wings with honey sauce were decent but very heavily breaded & lots of crunch which weren't really my taste. The ranch dip was really good though.

Fish Triangles and fries (fries are good)

Service and ambiance are as expe at this CoLab location. I come to CoLab every Wednesday for trivia with my girls. I'm not a pizza lover, but have enjoyed their fish and chips many times, until now. Groton's frozen crunchy batter red fish triangles are NOT WORTH $20 BUCKS!!! They ought to be embarrassed big time. How DARE they pass this off as a fish & chips dinner. I have a bags of these fish portions at home for when I want quick fish tacos... but id never believe I'd be able to pass this off as a real meal. VERY disappointed in this place, pass it up if you have the chance! 8/28/25 Rob Z. Thanks for your reply... and I do need to clarify! I've had the fish & chips at this location numerous times, and it is USUALLY as you describe. In fact I've enjoyed it and touted that to others (except for the night your guy used way too much chili powder in the Tartar sauce... chili powder in Tartar sauce? Who'd imagine). My issue is with last night. See my picture! Maybe your crew ran out of good fish and decided this would make a good substitute? NOT!!

    Over there.

Pet friendly, TV's everywhere, lots of different tables, couches, stools to choose from, huge beer menu, (it sits in the middle of a brewery), and an upstairs area that overlooks all the beautiful people who frequent this spot. Ok food. Service is ok. Beer maidens are kick ass!

Was blown away by the pizza. I am picky but the crust was great as was the pesto arugula topping and the food was ready relatively quickly.

This title was briefly held by Kavos Taverna in Mykonos, Greece where I visited last year. Good job Eugenio. The octopus was unbelievably tender and super flavorful. Food was excellent. Variety was enormous (huge menu). Execution was pretty spot on. I made a comment at the table, "Eugenio certainly knows how to cook" as everything brought to the table was full of flavor, texture, plentiful and well seasoned, although the prosciutto and mushroom pizza was less than desirable. The pie had ham instead of prosciutto, and the overall pie, I would not order again. Much better pizza elsewhere (very, very nearby along Lake San Marcos). Service was good, but not without flaw. We waited until the entire supper was consumed, yet waited and waited for the not really very good, (I think it was a "special") short rib onion soup of sort to come out. We never got our beet salad. Eugenio's food was that good. Lots of flavor. Lots of texture. Not without the hiccups as most kitchens experience. Try it out. Get reservations because it is very small inside and out. I've got a feeling we will be having more Italian food here. Cutely decorated inside too. CritDicks

Brought us everything we asked for quickly (extra ice, parm & red pepper flakes, drink refills, etc). I bought some pastries at the bakery next door & he stored them in the walk-in cooler as it was 94° outside. Our food was served quickly & the checks were processed quickly. The food! I got the chicken & sun dried tomato white pizza - excellent - and shared with a friend. My side salad was large enough to be an entree. Everyone at the table made yummy noises & agreed we would be back. It's a real test of a restaurant's skill to serve a large group, and Del Lusso passed with flying colors. We had reasonable wait times, received hot food, the server was top notch, and check processing was quick. The only issue was that on a 90°+ day the landlord refused to turn off the giant fire feature & nearly roasted us to death. Landlords do t care about customers & this guy was being a jerk just to be a jerk. Everything else far exceeded our expectations! I will be going again & our neighbors have already agreed that Del Lusso will be on our rotation for future dine out events.

Having welcomed a newborn just a week ago, my wife and I have been entirely too sleep-deprived and busy to cook. What started as a simple errand ended up being one of the most heartwarming experiences we've had in a long time. When I ordered, Bella at the deli register kindly let me know there would be about a 20-minute wait due to call-in orders, offering me water and fresh bread while I waited. Since my wife and week-old baby were waiting in the air-conditioned car, I brought them inside to sit with me. Shortly after we sat down, a family dining nearby noticed our baby and struck up a warm conversation. A moment later, one of the women from the family came over to congratulate us and offered us some fresh pastries. She returned to our table with two pistachio-filled croissants and two espressos--a gesture that, given our level of sleep deprivation, couldn't have been more appreciated! I later learned from Bella that this incredibly kind woman was Valeria, a member of the Giuseppe family who owns the restaurant. As for the food itself, we got the Gloria sandwich on focaccia. It is honestly one of the best sandwiches we've ever had--so good that this was actually our second time ordering it in three days! I cannot thank Valeria, Bella, and the Giuseppe family enough for their exceptional hospitality and generosity. We left feeling truly cared for and look forward to being regular customers for years to come.

The toppings were good, but there wasn't any sauce on the pizza, so it ended up being a little dry for my taste. I'd probably try a different pizza next time. The sustained funding letters from feb 26 2025 is the reason for my protest. I was in jail for 14 hours with a dislocated shoulder after telling deputies I had a dislocated shoulder during booking and arrest, deputies arrested me off a phone call only which is not probable cause. I was a paying customer at Tony Pepperonis. My biggest concern with Tony Pepperoni involves what happened on March 30, 2025. I was outside protesting and recording while my left arm was immobilized in a sling from an injury I suffered the month before. While I remained outside, an individual came from the area of the business, jumped the fence and confronted me while I was visibly injured. During the incident, he also attempted to snatch property I had on the ground. After everything else occurred, he snatched the phone I was recording with directly out of my hand. I attempted to report what happened to law enforcement and had video footage of the incident available, but the responding deputies refused to view my footage. I find that particularly troubling because the video could have shown them directly what had occurred rather than forcing them to rely solely on competing statements. I was initially told essentially that nothing happened. Yet records I later obtained contain the notation "HAS SUS INFO," indicating suspect information was provided in connection with my report. Even more concerning, I later learned that a completely different allegation was being made about me--that I supposedly entered Tony Pepperoni on March 30 and was kicked out/trespassed. I completely dispute this. I did not enter the restaurant that day. If I supposedly trespassed on March 30, why wasn't any trespassing action taken against me that day? Instead, I was the person attempting to report someone who confronted me, attempted to take my property, and ultimately took my phone from my hand, while deputies wouldn't even watch the footage I was trying to provide. I have preserved the video and official records. I want to know why information I believe is false was provided to law enforcement about me and why it was apparently accepted while my actual video evidence wasn't even viewed. This review reflects my personal experience, what I personally witnessed and recorded, and records I subsequently obtained. See you on default I guess :-)
